| Lu Shique,who was born in Shandong,is a vital important poet in late Ming and early Qing Dynasty.He was famous for his works,Du Shi Xu Chao and Du Du Si Yan,that seeded the trend of studying Du Fu in late Ming Dynasty.Lu loves to copy ancient books.Most of his copies were lost.Only one of them has been preserved in Taiwan province,which named Song Ren Jin Ti Fen Yun Shi Chao.Supported by Lu’s works,we can research his clan,lifetime,attitude to poem,and how he created poems.The first chapter focus on Lu Shique himself.The first section shows his clan.Lu’s grandfather,Lu Zongzhe,transformed their family members from soldiers to the intellectual.The second section describes Lu’s personal experience as an officer.He supervised canal transportation.He was deeply disappointed at the politics in the journey.So after the assignment,Lu returned to his hometown.He stayed at home until he passed away.The second chapter introduces Lu Shique’s social association.They’re Mao Jin,Qian Qianyi,Hou Ke,Shen Defu and so on.They contacted with each other frequently by poems.Their views about literature had deeply influence on Lu Shique.But Lu didn’t care about their views about politics.He was always regarded himself as a poet.The third chapter focuses on Lu’s works.The first section concentrates on the themes of his poems,including touring,living at home and plaint about the disease.The second section analyzes Lu Shique’s responses to literary trend in late Ming dynasty.The features of his poems will also be mentioned.Most of the poets in Shandong imitated Li Panlong and Xie Zhen.So did Lu Shique.But he had an open mind about poems.His favorite poet is Du Fu.So a lot of characteristic words used by Du Fu can be found in Lu Shique’s poems.He also learned from Yuan Hongdao,Li Zhi and Xu Wei.For they wrote down their spirit sincerely.The fourth chapter introduces Lu Shique’s copy making.First,we will trace back to his collection of books.He bought the books from book fairs.He also seeked some nice works by himself.His friends also gave him ancient books as presents.The second section shows the way Lu Shique copied books.The third section introduces his book-printing.The fifth chapter analyzes Song Ren Jin Ti Fen Yun Shi Chao.The book has no author’s name.So we have to notarize whether the author is Lu Shique or not.After we have a certain conclusion about the author,when Lu Shique wrote the book will be known next.The second section discusses the features of the book.The third section shows Lu Shique’s view to poems of Song Dynasty.Through the anthology,we can have a deeper cognition on how poems of Song Dynasty influenced scholars in late Ming and early Qing dynasty. |
