| Chinese idioms enriches the expression of Chinese.International students who have reached intermediate and advanced level will inevitably come into contact with idioms.The flexible use of idioms is the main part for foreign students to acquire authentic Chinese.Due to its own characteristics,cultural connotation and other factors,idioms have become difficult to Acquisition.At the same time,teachers also tend to pay less attention to idiomatic teaching in the classroom.In order to attract Chinese teachers’ attention to idioms and better teach idioms in the classroom,this article examines the acquisition of idioms by Intermediate and Advanced international students by designing a questionnaire,and uses the methods of Error Analysis to investigate the error usage of idiom,explain the sources of error.Finally,according to the research conclusions,the teaching suggestions are proposed based on the content of the textbook "Advanced Spoken Chinese".This article is divided into four chapters:Chapter 1is Introduction.It mainly introduces the significance of the topic selection,research value,review of previous research,research objectives,research methods and the definition and understanding of idioms in this article;Chapter 2,Idioms in "Advanced Spoken Chinese" and four authoritative outlines are used as the representative of this idiom research.Following the basic principles and steps of error analysis,the idiomatic error corpus collected from international students’ interlanguage corpus,questionnaire survey and teaching accumulation is analyzed in four aspects: form,semantics,grammar and pragmatics,and from idioms The four aspects of its own complexity,cultural factors,generalization of Chinese knowledge and other factors explain the source of the error;Chapter 3 investigates the understanding and usage of idioms of 39 intermediate and advanced-level international students through questionnaire survey,and compares the differences between intermediate and advanced level.The survey broadly affirmed the impact of the semantic preference and semantic transparency of idioms in previous studies on idiom understanding,and found that in the face of idioms with low familiarity,the overall performance of advanced students is superior to that of intermediate students;the survey also found context can help students’ understand and use of idioms,but in making sentences,the performance of students of different levels is not satisfactory.Explain that idioms are more receptive knowledge than productive knowledge for international students..Chapter 4 proposes the corresponding classroom teaching suggestions from the aspects of teaching principles,teaching strategies and teaching methods based on the characteristics and difficulties of the acquisition of idioms of intermediate and advanced –level International students summarized in the previous two chapters. |
