Researches On The Origination Of Money Tree In Han And Jin Dynasties

Money Tree is a type of burial article which mainly prevails among Bashu area—Sichuan province and Chongqing city in early Eastern-Han Dynasty and period of ShuHan.In addition,it was ever and anon scattered in some Chinese provinces—Yunnan,Guizhou,Hubei,Shanxi,Ningxia,Gansu,Qinghai,et cetera.This thesis mainly researches on clarifying the origination of Money Tree.Firstly,the thesis answers to the most two far-reaching parlances about the origination of Money Tree,whereupon the thesis details and indicates that both Native Origin and Central Plains Theory can not make a clear explanation of the origination of Money Tree.Secondly,the thesis,from the backgrounds of the Money Tree,makes some analyses on the essential regional factor-Bashu and conditions that provided for the appearance of Money Tree.Finally,the author finds that the origination of Money Tree is probably influenced by multi-cultural factors.Besides,Bronze branch ware in Yanyuan and Kunlun belief rooted in Northwest China hold the field when it comes to the origination of Money Tree.Umtil now there is insufficient knowledge of these two impacts on the origination of Money Tree.
