Analysis Of Luo Mei Shuo’s Suona And National Band Rhapsody Dancefire

Luo Maishuo,a young contemporary composer in China,is currently teaching in the composition department of China Conservatory of music.He is one of the more active young composers in the contemporary music world.The Rhapsody of Suona and the national band "dance of fire" is one of the concert series of original works of national orchestral music of "intentional Silk Road and Qiuci Sheng song",which premiered in Beijing in 2018.This paper will take the work "dance of fire" as the research object.The full text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the Ideological Expression of "Fire Dance",which mainly expounds how the "fire" element is reflected in the works and how the rhythm of the "fire" element is expressed;The second chapter is pitch organization analysis.This book will analyze the vertical and horizontal aspects of pitch organization,and discuss that the composer uses rigorous pitch materials to grasp and unify the musical vocabulary in the works.The third chapter is the structural analysis,which makes a detailed analysis of the overall structure and secondary structure of the dance of fire.The fourth chapter is the orchestration technique,which analyzes the composition of the band,the layout of timbre,the application of texture form and the relationship between the main instrument and the band,and explores how the suona and the band are skillfully combined.The dance of fire embodies the composer’s strong control over the national band,takes into account the audibility of sound while controlling technology,and gives great expressiveness to the suona part.It is a work full of appeal.
