With the development of society,human’s demand is higher and higher.Global integration has become the inevitable path for every country.In order to seize the opportunity to find their own development platform to improve their quality and ability is becoming everyone’s must do.In this process,foreign language has become an indispensable skill for people to work and study.As one of the global languages,Chinese has become a language that people should learn and learn.In Vietnam,both young and old people can learn Chinese as long as they are interested in Chinese and related issues.To be able to learn Chinese well and use it fluently,it is very important to understand Chinese vocabulary.In the process of learning vocabulary,Vietnamese students may encounter some Chinese Homonyms that make them confused.Therefore,many scholars have paid more attention to this phenomenon.They want to make it clear and help not only teachers but also students to understand the key points and difficulties of homonyms in the process of teaching and learning Chinese.As a foreign student studying in China,the author has encountered some difficulties when learning Chinese homophones.Therefore,the author decided to investigate this phenomenon,which can solve his own confusion and provide valuable reference for Chinese learners.The author also hopes to make a statistical analysis of homonyms in the textbook of Chinese courses and list the homonyms in the textbook.In addition,the typical homonyms were selected from students’ daily use and writing.According to the statistics of quantity and distribution,this paper finds out the homonyms with high frequency and the key homonyms that Vietnamese students need to acquire.At the same time,this paper analyzes some mistakes of Vietnamese students in the process of learning Chinese to finds out the reasons why Vietnamese students may misuse homonyms through case analysis,and then puts forward corresponding teaching strategies so as to better apply to teaching of Chinese as a foreign language in the future.
