Narrative Research On Character Documentaries

Character documentary is a type of documentary,which takes real people and events in reality as the performance object,and records the living status of people in a real and objective way.Narrative strategy runs through the whole creation process in character documentary.Based on narrative theory,this paper divides it into five parts for narrative research of character documentary.The first part is the introduction,which expounds the background and significance of the narrative research of character documentary,and then systematically combs the relevant literature and image data.The second part defines the concept of character documentary and narratology,and analyzes the importance of narrative in character documentary.The third part expounds the narrative strategy of character documentary from the perspective of narrative,narrative skills and narrative techniques.The fourth part from the image,sound,post-production three aspects,with the graduation work "Half Mu Painting and Calligraphy" as an example,explore how to through the language of sound and painting documentary narrative.The fifth chapter is a systematic summary of the narrative of character documentary,hoping to provide some references for the narrative of character documentary.
