| Culture is an important force for the survival and development of the nation,General Secretary Xi Jinping once said: "Without the prosperity of Chinese culture,there will be no great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation." "In the context of the new era,primary school English teaching should break the traditional teaching concept,establish the concept of cultural self-confidence in cross-cultural communication teaching,and cultivate the national spirit." Studying the integration of primary school English teaching into the design of Chinese excellent traditional culture is a useful supplement and extension of education and teaching,but in the actual teaching process,the current situation of the design of primary school English teaching into Chinese excellent traditional culture cannot be ignored.First of all,the front-line teachers’ understanding of the connotation and value of China’s excellent traditional culture is not profound enough,and they pay more attention to the content of cultural knowledge,ignoring the value of excellent traditional culture to the cultivation of students’ cultural consciousness and the shaping of the spiritual world.Secondly,what are the design values,principles and concepts of primary school English teaching integrated into China’s excellent traditional culture? Teachers select and integrate Chinese excellent traditional culture? Based on what strategies are teachers based on to integrate primary school English teaching into the design of Chinese excellent traditional culture? This study focuses on four issues: "Why is integration necessary","Why is the content of integration selected","The current status of integration",and "The realization of integration".In view of the above problems,the introduction part of this paper sorts out the relevant documents of "Chinese excellent traditional culture" and "English teaching into Chinese excellent traditional culture",and finds out the achievements and shortcomings of the current research on the integration of primary school English teaching into the design of Chinese excellent traditional culture.For "Chinese excellent traditional culture".The three keywords of "instructional design" and "integration" are conceptually defined.The theory of intercultural communication,cultural difference and second language acquisition theory are used as the theoretical basis for this paper.For the analysis of the question of "why integration is necessary".The study explores its value from the perspectives of cultural self-confidence,cultural inheritance,intercultural communication,multicultural development and students’ professional growth.At the same time,the design concepts and design principles of primary school English integrated into Chinese excellent traditional culture are analyzed.Focusing on "what content is integrated",solving the problem of "what to integrate" : summarizing and presenting the "Chinese excellent traditional culture" in the "PEP human-taught version" textbook and the "Yilin version" textbook,and expounding on the selection and integration of the content of the excellent Chinese traditional culture in primary school English teaching.Through interviews with front-line English teachers,we learn about the "current situation of integration",and expound from five perspectives: culture,cultural selection,cultural exchange,cultural expression and cultural integration channels.Focusing on "how to achieve integration",the specific strategies of the six elements of textbook analysis,learning situation analysis,teaching objectives,teaching methods,teaching process,and teaching evaluation are proposed,and the design process and methods of each basic element are explained in combination with cases,showing the design process and methods of each basic element.The study focuses on the analysis path of "why to integrate","what to integrate","integration into the status" and "how to integrate",and integrates the English teaching design of primary schools into the excellent traditional Chinese culture as the core content.This study hopes to provide methodological guidance for the design and design of primary school English teaching that integrates Chinese excellent traditional culture,and help front-line English teachers to better carry out the teaching of excellent Chinese traditional culture. |
