Since the reform and opening up,with the rapid economic development,people’s living standards and lifestyles have also been improved and transformed.The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of my country pointed out that the main contradictions in our society have been transformed into contradictions between the people’s increasing need for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development.As a special spiritual product,cultural consumption can not only promote economic development,but also improve the personal quality of residents and satisfy the people’s beautiful needs.Therefore,improving the quality of residents’ family cultural consumption helps to meet the people’s ever-growing needs for beauty.This article uses consumption stratification theory to analyze the status and characteristics of the cultural consumption of households at different levels in cities and towns in my country,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the quality of urban households’ cultural consumption.This article analyzes the cultural consumption of different classes of families in cities and towns in my country through comparative research and quantitative analysis.The first part introduces the purpose and significance of the research and innovation.The second part studies and summarizes the relevant theories of this article.It mainly defines the concept of cultural consumption,cultural consumption stratification and the selection method of cultural consumption stratification in this article.The third part uses the2015 China Comprehensive Social Survey to explain the status and characteristics of domestic cultural consumption of urban residents at different levels in China.The survey data shows that the urban cultural consumption of urban residents in China is stratified,and the population from the lower to the middle is mostly There are relatively few people on the upper and upper ends,distributed in the shape of "onion heads".The fourth part uses the Tobit model to analyze the influencing factors of China’s urban residents’ family cultural consumption,followed by the analysis of the influencing factors of different classes of residents’ family cultural consumption.At present,China’s urban residents’ family cultural consumption is affected by residents’ income,age,education level,etc.Factors.In studying the influencing factors of household cultural consumption of residents of different strata,it is found that age,employment and income have a significant impact on the residents of the five strata.Finally,based on empirical research,countermeasures and suggestions are proposed for increasing the cultural consumption of residents of different urban classes.The research conclusions of this paper mainly include: First,although the growth rate of the cultural consumption level of urban households in my country is fast,in general,the consumption level is not high,and among the total expenditures of cultural consumption,the proportion of residents’ educational consumption is higher.Secondly,the improvement and development of China’s cultural industry cannot be one size fits all.To meet the needs of residents of different classes,for example,for the lower class and middle and lower class residents,it is necessary to reduce the educational consumption of residents and open free libraries and museums;As far as the upper class residents are concerned,the government of the regulatory department should guide literary and art workers to enhance the level of creativity in cultural products and cultural services.
