| As a typical representative of Chinese culture,Chinese calligraphy has a profound cultural heritage and plays a role in spreading Chinese culture,so calligraphy content is also essential in teaching culture.However,after observing a number of calligraphy culture classes,we found that there were problems in the classroom such as low student interest and teachers’ filler teaching of knowledge.Therefore,we base this paper on the teaching of calligraphy topic classes and use the contextual teaching method as a theoretical basis to explore the advantages of this teaching method in teaching calligraphy topic,and explore strategies to improve the teaching of calligraphy topic,aiming to improve the effectiveness of culture teaching.This paper first analyzes the theoretical development of the contextual teaching method,the theoretical development of Chinese calligraphy teaching in foreign languages and the application of the contextual teaching method in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and then specifically analyzes the application of the contextual teaching method in Chinese calligraphy topic classes,explains the principles of the contextual teaching method,and analyzes several advantages of the application of the contextual teaching method in calligraphy topic classes,which can not only make the knowledge of calligraphy The purpose of this paper is to explain the principles of contextual teaching method and analyze several advantages of contextual teaching method in Chinese calligraphy class,not only to make the knowledge of calligraphy concrete and create a strong cultural atmosphere,but also to enhance students’ independent learning,and to analyze several ways of creating context in Chinese calligraphy class,so as to clarify the ideas for the following teaching design.After analyzing the teaching environment,teaching objects,teaching purposes,and teaching contents,we carried out the theoretical design of the Chinese calligraphy class based on the contextual teaching method,and reflected on the teaching design at the end,summarizing it based on students’ and teachers’ feedback.We then explain the strengths and weaknesses of this teaching design,and propose suggestions for improving the teaching design of Chinese calligraphy.We hope that this paper can provide reference for the application of contextual teaching method in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and culture,provide ideas for the research related to teaching Chinese calligraphy as a foreign language,and enrich the content and form of Chinese as a foreign language and culture classroom. |
