“Losing the Ring” is a very representative Northeast folk song. Its melody is relaxed and lively, the lyrics are plain and humorous, the regional language style is rich, the structure is clear, the melody is smooth and natural, and it has the local characteristics of Northeast folk songs. However, the work itself does not constitute a complete artistic output, and it must be closely related to the singer’s interpretation. Therefore,we need to analyze not only the work itself, but also different singing versions in order to seek a richer artistic value of the song.Based on the overview of the cultural connotation and regional characteristics of Northeast folk songs, this paper analyzes the characteristics, such as the style, melody and lining of "Lost Ring",and then compares and studies the three professional singing versions, and implements them into its own singing processing and thinking, explores the singing processing and inheritance of Northeast folk songs, and contributes to the inheritance and development of Northeast folk songs.
