| Before the establishment of Ta Kung Pao,the only one among Wu,Hu and Zhang was Zhang Jiluan, who had close contacts with the Institute of Government, the predecessor of the New Deal Department.Moving between Beijing and Shanghai,Zhang Jilan worked for China New News, the official newspaper of the Chinese Society of Government Affairs, for eight years. There are many similarities between his comments in the newspaper and the opinions of the Chinese Society of Government Affairs, which shows his relationship with the Chinese Society of Government Affairs.Under the influence of Anfu School,Ta Kung Pao of Wang Zhi Long’s period presided by Hu Zhengzhi held a negative attitude towards the political association.Wu Dingchang had little contact with the society of Government. He only had contact with the society of Government of the South when he was negotiating with it as a representative of the North.During the Northern Expedition, there were many forces.Only by considering the situation, could Ta Kung Pao newspaper survive and develop. At the end of August 1926,when the National Revolutionary Army won the battles of Tingsi Bridge and Hesheng Bridge,Hu Zhengzhi and others saw the possibility of unification between the North and the South, and began to show goodwill to the northern expedition troops and Chiang Kai-shek.After that,Hu Zhengzhi,Zhang Jilan,Wu Dingchang and the main character of the New Deal department Huang Fu contact gradually increased.Huang Shuo,by virtue of his years of contact with celebrities in the north, for Chiang Kai-shek round for talent,Ta Kung Fu "big three is the man he recognized. The Big Three and the members of the New Deal Department gradually formed a political identity with the Chiang Kai-shek government, and had a consensus on promoting the localization of the country and the diplomatic attitude towards Japan, which became increasingly close. From the mid-1930s to the mid-1940s,the New Deal Department and Ta Kung Pao went through a consistent transition from insisting on communist suppression by force to seeking a political solution. In terms of economic construction, they spared no effort to promote modernization. In addition, the practices on the Northeast issue highlighted the aspirations of bourgeois liberals for domestic peace after the war and for the rise of the country. In addition,Ta Kung Pao and members of the New Policy Department campaigned together to clear Zhou’s name as a traitor. All these can prove that Ta Kung Pao was an important front of public opinion for the New Deal department during this period. However, due to the different identities of the two politicians and journalists, the relationship between them also shows different aspects.Despite the close relationship between Ta Kung Pao and the New Deal department,Ta Kung Pao did not follow suit.At the Third Plenary Session of the sixth CPC Central Committee, members of the New Deal Department were attacked by other parties and gradually moved away from the center of political power, which directly influenced the change of post-war Kuomintang policy and the all-out civil war finally broke out.Ta Kung Pao became increasingly dissatisfied with the Chiang government, and eventually came to the opposition of the Chiang government. The relationship between Ta Kung Pao and the New Deal department was no longer the same.Ta Kung Pao in Hong Kong and Shanghai was reborn one after another, and Ta Kung Pao in Chongqing was not in favor of the Kuomintang and could not escape the fate of closure. In 1949,Zhang Qun tried to protect the Ta Kung Pao in Chongqing, which was the last trace of friendship between the New Deal Department and the Ta Kung Pao.The New Deal department,as a bourgeois liberal within the Nanjing National government system, had a certain influence on the trend of China’s modern politics, but they could not represent the mainstream ideology and direction of China’s historical development. It is the general trend for Ta Kung Pao to be separated from it and finally reborn. |
