A Creative Report On The Picture Book "the Era Of The Epidemic"

This article mainly describes the creative exploration and practice process of the picture book "The Age of Epidemic Situation".This creation is based on the change of people’s mentality and experiences on the eve of the COVID-19 in 2020,during the development of the epidemic,and at the end of the epidemic.Starting from the author’s own feelings,this paper records the unique events in the past three years,in which the development process of the epidemic situation is the main creation timeline,Describing a living state of people in different periods and the changes in human lifestyles during this state,it also showcases the unity and unity of the Chinese people during the anti epidemic period.In terms of creative methods,absorb the expressions and methods of existing painting works,and explore the author’s own unique painting style.The main body of this article consists of six chapters: introduction,sources of creative inspiration,form and structure of picture book creation,drawing of picture books,book binding design,and conclusion.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly records the impact of the COVID-19 on people from medical and health care,social exchanges,economic development,education system,mental health and other aspects,as well as the author’s starting point,significance and basic overview of the content of the creation.The second chapter is inspired by the events that have occurred in the past three years of the epidemic as the main factual basis,and the author creates and processes based on what he has seen and heard.The third chapter elaborates on the form and structure of picture book creation,mainly focusing on the narrative techniques,script creation,character modeling,work conception process,and style selection.It provides a detailed record of the author’s thinking process during creation.The fourth chapter of the drawing of the picture book explains in detail the composition and Spatial analysis,how to deal with the relationship between pictures and text,and the consideration of the use of lines and colors in the picture.Chapter 5 Book Binding Design describes the design process of the book cover,title page,and back cover.Chapter 6 mainly summarizes the author’s insights into the creative process and prospects for the future.
