A Study On The Theory Of World History And Its Contemporary Value In The Communist Manifesto

The theory of world history is an important component of Marx’s historical materialism.The Manifesto of the Communist Party(hereinafter referred to as the Manifesto)marked the official birth of Marxism and further deepened the theory of world history in the context of political declaration.It is an important text for the study of the theory of world history.Based on the basic standpoint of historical materialism,the Declaration elaborated the two logics of the formation of world history,namely,the logic of the globalization expansion of the capitalist mode of production and the logic of the promotion of globalization of universal communication.The two logics interacted and jointly pushed the world history toward communism.In the Declaration,the world history theory had significantly deepened and developed.At present,the world is undergoing profound changes unseen in a century.The development of productive forces and the progress of science and technology have deepened the degree of global integration,made worldwide exchanges more frequent and closer,and made countries increasingly interdependent and share a common future.At the same time,the international environment is becoming increasingly complex,and anti-globalization trends such as political populism,trade protectionism and military unilateralism are prevailing,exposing the profound contradictions and serious shortcomings of some Western capitalist countries.With the remarkable enhancement of China’s comprehensive national strength and international status,China is playing an important role in the world historical stage.It also fully demonstrates the scientific nature and powerful historical penetration of the world history theory in the Declaration.The main logical structure of this thesis is as follows: the first chapter is the introduction.The second chapter briefly explains the basic concepts and related theories involved in the thesis,which provides theoretical basis for the study of the world history theory and contemporary value in the Declaration.The third chapter focuses on the formation and development of the world history theory before the Declaration.The fourth chapter,based on the Declaration,summarizes the main content,basic characteristics and historical status of the world history theory.On this basis,it expounds the two logic of the formation of world history and its inevitable trend.Chapter five probes into the contemporary value of the world history theory in the Declaration from two dimensions of theory and practice.On the one hand,the theory of world history in the Declaration provides a philosophical basis for an in-depth understanding of the idea of a community with a shared future for mankind and points the way forward.On the other hand,the practical exploration of our socialist modernization has further enriched and developed the theory of world history in Declaration.
