| Yuan Secretary supervision is concerned by historians because of its vast scale of picture and book-collection.At present,the academic researches on the secretarial supervision mainly focus on the functions of its archives and records,and there is still room for further discussion on its official system.As a part of the official system of the Yuan dynasty,the official system of secretary supervision has its own system.The Yuan dynasty secretary supervision was a collection institution subordinate to the central government of Yuan dynasty.The secretary supervision of the Yuan dynasty was also called secret house or secret supervision.It was established in the background of stable regime,increasingly strengthening bureaucratic political system,strong military,the policy of culture governance etc in Yuan dynasty,.It was founded in the ninth year of the Yuan dynasty.At the beginning of its establishment,its chief also called secretary supervision,Renzong changed to secretary secretary.Under it,there were not only senior officials and various officials,but also officials of subordinate institutions such as the copyright bureau,the secretary database and the imperial astronomer.The secretary of the Yuan dynasty brought together talents from many countries and ethnic groups,which was a platform for the cultural integration of ethnic groups.The secretary supervisor in the Yuan dynasty has the duty of collecting,editing and proofreading documents,collecting all kinds of objects,cultivating talents,advising advice,translation,writing and conveying functions.The selection of officials also have the way of the officials take office,transferred another post or given a proclamation and so on.These methods are conducive to the selection of officials and provide administrative efficiency.The research on the system of secretary supervisor in Yuan dynasty is of reference significance to the development and improvement of modern secretary officer system and library collection.This paper tries to analyze and explore the functions and various ways of selecting and appointing secretary superintendents in Yuan dynasty by using the methods of documentary. |
