Under the background of cultural globalization, with the increasing international infl uence of Chinese traditional culture, strengthening cultural confidence is the spiritual bac kbone to realize the great rejuvenation of Chinese culture.Intangible cultural heritage(he reinafter referred to as "intangible cultural heritage"),as the product of the spiritual and c ultural development of a nation in the pre-industrial period, has condensed the unique cul tural essence of a nation and is the epitome of the development history of a nation’s spiri tual and cultural development. It plays a key role in the inheritance and transmission of national culture, and has important cultural, artistic and economic value in contemporary society.Intangible cultural heritage needs to be explained and displayed, which is the pro cess of giving play to the value of the era of intangible cultural heritage, but also an imp ortant part of protecting intangible cultural heritage and spreading and inheriting excellent traditional culture.Museums are an important carrier for the dissemination of intangible cultural heritage to the public. However, due to the "divergence" of intangible cultural he ritage culture, the arrangement of the exhibition order of intangible cultural heritage in m useums is particularly important, and the spatial narrate theory just provides appropriate t heoretical basis for the arrangement of the exhibition order of intangible cultural heritage. This paper uses the theory of spatial narratiology to construct the narrative framewor k system of exhibition space of intangible cultural heritage museum, and through the desi gn practice of Huaxia Sea Salt Museum, builds a narrative exhibition design framework s uitable for "sea salt culture" around "sea salt culture".Through field research, the cultural background and existing problems and deficiencies of Huaxia Sea Salt Museum are sort ed out.For example, first, the internal facilities are not updated in time, and the design a esthetic level is backward.Second, the exhibition space is disordered, and the planning o f the exhibition line is not obvious.Thirdly, the main story of the exhibition and the rati onality of the functional area are poor.Fourth, the lack of interactive experience and dyn amic display.Fifth, the lack of high-tech display technology application, lack of interest. In view of the above problems,a systematic design idea is proposed from the perspectiv--e of spatial narrative theory. For example, first,by constructing a sequential narrative str ucture, the historical context of sea salt culture is connected in a linear way, forming a c omplete systematic story line.Secondly, through the construction of thematic narrative sp ace,the story scene of sea salt is "moved" into the museum, and the story content is nar rated in a more vivid way.Third,it enriches the narrative carrier of the story content by using diversified narrative means.Fourth, through the setting of different narrative perspe ctives, audiences can have a more comprehensive understanding of sea salt culture with d ifferent identities and perspectives. The design plan reorganizes the space of Huaxia Sea Salt Museum.Under the theme of "sea salt culture",the space is divided into three subsp aces: "Ancient City Salt History Hall","craft Culture Hall","Salt Memory Hall",and fiv e derivative Spaces: "real scene restoration Hall","science exhibition hall","science popu lar science experience area","movie room" and "derivative sales area",so as to generate a complete spatial narrative structure.Guide the audience to deeply understand the conno tation of sea salt culture,so that the audience can get a deep experience from the "scener y" to the "environment",so as to generate the emotional resonance between itself and the intangible cultural heritage.
