| Xiao Gang’s articles are like a mirror that directly presents his personal feelings,poetic thoughts,and literary ideas.However,Academics focus on Palace Style Poetry,researches on his articles are more about the value of parallel style and poetic literature before.Therefore,a comprehensive review of Xiao Gang’s articles can make readers have a deeper understanding of his thoughts,artistic features,and Composing characteristics of his articles.This thesis investigates four aspects.The first is to solve the text problems existing in Xiao Gang’s articles.This thesis makes textual research on the differences in the signature of some writing of him in different literary collections,discriminates the correspondence between some articles and historical facts,verifies the writing year of some articles,and clarifies the basic process of Xiao Gang’s creation.On this basis,taking Xiao Gang’s time from the town to the palace as the clue,combined with his interpersonal relationship,this thesis investigates the diachronic changes of Xiao Gang’s articles.Among them,the number of articles on politics has decreased sharply,and the content of the articles is more inclined to abide by etiquette,morality,and personal feelings.With the extension of writing time,his planning of the articles also continues to mature.That was his moral prudence as Prince and his pursuit of pure literature.His religious and literary thoughts had sprouted in the vassal period and had been positively amplified and continued in that period.Xiao Gang’s articles have not only developed in content but also unique in artistic form.In allusions,by comparing the use of imperial edicts,decrees,and enlightening allusions,it is found that their allusions vary with different styles.In terms of phonology,although there are no strict program regulations on the coordination with the content of his article,the division of rhyme part,and the application of tonal rhyme,he could rhyme most of the text and coordinated them properly.He also used a variety of lyric ways to express his feelings in scenery writing,narration,and discussion.Compared with the articles from the previous generation or contemporary,Xiao Gang’s writing style had also changed and developed.For example,the three-character lines of the ode to Ma Baosong,the inscription on Xingyu mountain,and the inscription on Mingyue Mountain retain elegance,and the laments of Datong become varied with more details.Xiao Gang sought development based on inheriting the literary heritage of the previous generation.As a style of writing,palace-style is not only limited to Xiao Gang’s poetry but also permeates into his article writing.As the representative of the creation of palace-style,Xiao Gang’s Palace Style Poetry was famous for a time,but the Palace Style of his prose was not as good as poetry.Only some of the delicate objects and personal leisure and entertainment showed the characteristics of light and gorgeous,which can be called Palace Style Proses.This creation is not his unconscious,but the acceptance and reference of palace-style under the guidance of his thought of articles need to be unrestrained,which embodies his creative subjectivity.Therefore,Palace Style Poetry and palace-style are subordinate,while Xiao Gang’s articles and palace-style are cross-related. |
