Research On The“inheritance” And“innovation” Of Character Modeling Design In Chinese-style Three-dimensional Animated Movies

With the rapid development of economic globalization,the cultural competition among countries in the world is becoming more and more intense.In recent years,with the introduction of a series of national policies to promote the development of the national animation industry,the cause of Chinese animation film is booming again,and a large number of excellent Chinese-style three-dimensional animation film works based on traditional cultural themes have emerged.From 2015’s Monkey King Is Back to 2019’s box office champion Ne Zha and other high-quality domestic animation works have been loved and supported by the audience and kept refreshing the box office performance.It has not only set a new record for Chinese animated films,but also become popular in overseas markets such as Australia and North America.The classic characters in the film have become traditional Chinese cultural symbols with international influence.A successful animated film cannot be separated from the creation of high-quality animated characters.Good animated characters have distinct personalities,unique behaviors and languages,so as to leave a deep impression on the audience,which is especially important in commercial cartoons.In terms of nezha conquers ",the film’s most successful place is the role of shape,on the basis of inheriting Chinese traditional culture,the classical characters in the fairy tale of shape again made a bold innovation,reflected the Chinese animation film style,and to carry forward Chinese excellent traditional culture and enhance national self-confidence play a strong role,both at home and abroad rapidly,It gives audiences a new understanding of Chinese animated films,which shows that characters attract audiences in a universal way.Thus,it can be seen that the creation of animated character images with national cultural characteristics and in line with the world’s aesthetic appreciation of animation modeling is becoming the basic competitiveness of the development of animation industry and the promotion of national culture.To be able to create animation characters recognized by the audience is also a topic that Chinese animation creators need to analyze and study together.Based on the literature review method and case analysis,this paper analyzes the character modeling design in the case of Ne Zha,and summarizes the characteristics of the character modeling in domestic animation and the innovation carried out on the basis of inheriting Chinese traditional culture.At the same time,this paper studies the ideas and rules of character creation in such excellent animated films,and then draws on the experience in the modeling design of excellent animated characters,in order to seek new ideas and new methods for the modeling design of domestic animated characters,which has important enlightenment significance for promoting the development of domestic animated films in the future.
