A Study On Metacinema Creation In New Media Age

"Meta" is self-reflexive,experimental and transcendental,and is an excellent perspective for reflecting on the characteristics of art in post-modern society.The relationship between film and technology is particularly close.As a mass medium born in the industrial age and flourishing in the information age,metacinema is the best model of meta-art to reflect the characteristics of the times.Technological development has profoundly changed the appearance of human society.and never before has mankind run so universally into the future that when we look at the present,we need to " turn back".Today all studies of the modernist can be preceded by the prefix "post".In this paper,i choose the metacinema creation of the past ten years as the research object,precisely because i want to study the post-film era from the perspective of metacinema,and use "meta" to link the past,present and future.In the first chapter,this paper composes an overview of the development of the concept of metacinema,and defines its connotation and extension.Chapters 2 to 5 analyze the characteristics of metacinema creation in new media age,summarizing them into three aspects: self-reflexivity,intertextuality and intermediality.Finally,metacinema reflects the subversion and reconstruction of the relationship between the real world and the virtual world that contemporary society is facing.Metacinema is a complex hybrid,and its three characteristics are intertwined and blended,but underneath them are two angles: movie text and movie mechanism.The reflexivity of movie text in metacinema is linked to intertextuality,and intermediality is derived from intertextuality.But these three characteristics of present metacinema can reflect the characteristics of the times better.This paper hopes to analyze social changes,think critically about the relationship between technology and human beings,and hope to find a feasible habitat of human beings in the film.
