Research On Zhu Zi’s Regulating Family Thought

“Regulating family” is one of the important propositions of Confucianism,and together with self-cultivation,governance,and peace of the world,it constitutes the path of Confucianism.As a master of Neo-Confucianism,Zhu Zi’s regulating family thought was deeply influenced by Neo-Confucianism and has its own characteristics,leaving many valuable spiritual wealth for later generations.In order to conduct a more systematic study of Zhu Zi’s thoughts of regulating family,this thesis mainly analyzes from four parts.First of all,using time as the axis,sort out the origin of Zhu Zi’s thoughts of regulating family,and combine with the special background of Zhu Zi’s life to find the realistic and theoretical foundations on which Zhu Zi’s thoughts of regulating family can be formed.Secondly,based on the complete perspective of self-cultivation and governance of the regulating family,the main content of Zhu Zi’s regulating family thought is deeply studied.Thirdly,it summarizes the uniqueness of Zhu Zi’s regulating family thought from the three dimensions of family and country integration,downward shift of perspective and ultimate care.Finally,on the basis of the above content,it analyzes the positive influence of Zhu Zi’s regulating family thought on the cultivation of family tradition and the construction of a harmonious society,and then deeply realizes the contemporary value of excellent traditional culture.In short,to study Zhu Zi’s regulating family thoughts and discover the essence of it,while improving personal family governance,it should also bear social responsibility and use family and country feelings to achieve the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation.
