The literature that reflects the geographical element of "frontier fortress" is called "frontier fortress literature",and the poems that reflect the life of the frontier fortress are called "frontier fortress poetry"."Frontier fortress poetry" originates from frontier fortress poetry and is essentially subordinate to "frontier fortress literature".Its content meets the needs of the definition of "frontier fortress literature",but it is different from the traditional sense of "frontier fortress literature" and is significantly influenced by the times and geographical environment.During the Southern Song Dynasty, the political situation was corrupt, and internal and external troubles arose. The border fortress ci of the Southern Song Dynasty, which was conceived against this background, intuitively reflected the poets’ concerns about the rise and fall of the country. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter discusses the creation of frontier fortress poetry in the Southern Song Dynasty. The frontier fortress poetry of the Southern Song Dynasty is an innovation of traditional frontier fortress literature, with the main content of writing about the Song Dynasty’s southern crossing, expediting, worrying about the country, speaking frankly about national affairs, expressing lofty aspirations, and other matters related to the defense of the Song Dynasty’s frontier fortress. The selection of geographical images and event images in the frontier fortress poems of the Southern Song Dynasty brings forth new ideas, and most of the poems contain geographical spatial information. In the selection of geographical images, the frontier fortress words of the Southern Song Dynasty have obvious regional characteristics, and the geographical spatial depiction methods for border lines are diverse. At the same time, there were four peak periods in the creative timing of the frontier fortress poetry in the Southern Song Dynasty:(1)In the early years of the Southern Song Dynasty,it was represented by the literary officials of the Southern Song Dynasty and the anti Jin generals and men;(2)From the early to mid Southern Song Dynasty,a group of poets gradually grew up after the Nandu, such as Zhang Xiaoxiang,Xin Qiji, and Chen Liang,as representatives;(3)In the late Southern Song Dynasty,Liu Kezhuang and Li Zengbo, the poets of the Xin School, were represented;(4)After the demise of the Southern Song Dynasty, the creators mainly included patriotic literary minister Wen Tianxiang, abducted and bullied Song concubines, and the adherents of Southern Song Dynasty. The second chapter explores the geographical spatial presentation in the frontier fortress poems of the Southern Song Dynasty. The creation of frontier fortress poems in the Southern Song Dynasty ran through the Southern Song Dynasty, with detailed descriptions of border scenery, smoke and dust outside the Great Wall, and landscapes in occupied areas. The image groups in the frontier fortress poems of the Southern Song Dynasty can be roughly divided into three categories: the occupied area-the image group of the Jin ruling area, the Jiangnan image group, and the frontier fortress important town image group. The image group of the occupied area-the ruling area of the Jin State takes the northern territory as the object of description, and common geographical spaces can be subdivided into Bianjing region, the occupied area of the Central Plains, the territory of the Jin State, and Yanjing. The landscape architecture of the Jiangnan image group is mainly concentrated in areas such as Lin’an and Jinling, which are adjacent to the front line of the war.The border fortress line landscape areas are closely related to the war,and the full text focuses on the three major landscape areas of Huaihe River,Xiangfan, and Hanzhong. In terms of geographical spatial structure, the frontier fortress poems of the Southern Song Dynasty adopt a split and unified approach, with the geographical images written in the works differing from the real landscape. For practical activities such as border and ground battles, hiking and overlooking, most of them use realistic writing techniques, mainly to depict the actual border scenery and foil the war situation; For geographical spaces such as exotic regions and narrating dreams, most of them are empty descriptions, mostly referring to enemy camps; For the geographical space writing in the occupied areas,it is relatively complex, with both virtual and realistic writing.Virtual writing is like nostalgia for the homeland, while realistic writing includes themes such as sending envoys to record exotic scenery and the tragic experiences of the adherents of Southern Song Dynasty. The third chapter analyzes the influence of geographical factors on frontier fortress poetry in the Southern Song Dynasty. The Frontier Fortress Ci of the Southern Song Dynasty is a direct reflection of a series of external factors such as military, political, and regional terrain during the Southern Song Dynasty. The impact of geographical environment on the Frontier Fortress Ci of the Southern Song Dynasty is mainly concentrated in the writing of trauma awareness under the disaster of war;The integration of patriotic emotions;Three aspects of strengthening life consciousness. The whole chapter discusses the influence of geographical factors, especially war,on the theme and content of frontier fortress poetry. The war caused the writers of frontier fortress poems in the Southern Song Dynasty to blur and paralyze their writing of painful and traumatic experiences;Inspired the patriotic feelings of the writers of frontier fortress poems in the Southern Song Dynasty; At the same time,as for the strengthening of life consciousness, influenced by the war,the cognition and reflection on the noumenon of "life" in the frontier fortress poems of the Southern Song Dynasty were far ahead of the times, and the understanding and writing of life consciousness mainly unfolded from three aspects: "the sadness of being separated from others" "homesickness" and "awareness of cherish life".The fourth chapter elaborates the aesthetic development and characteristics of the frontier fortress poetry in the Southern Song Dynasty.Under specific historical conditions, the law of social development and the law of literary development have instead presented a contradictory trend. The rise and fall of the aesthetic appreciation of the frontier fortress ci in the Southern Song Dynasty was significantly influenced by the times. The aesthetic characteristics of the frontier fortress ci in the Southern Song Dynasty are mainly shown in the following three points: First, the transition from the "Yan Ran Wei Le Gui Wu Ji" style to the "Shou Shi Jiu Shan He" style aesthetic ideal, and the conclusion is drawn by comparing the aesthetic differences between the frontier fortress ci in the Northern and Southern Song Dynasty;Secondly, the expansion of the lyric realm includes the creation of an artistic conception that integrates the scene into one,and the creation of an exaggerated landscape space. The writers of frontier fortress lyrics prefer to create a vast geographical space with magnificent images, blending emotions into the lyrics,in order to achieve a high level of scene integration; In terms of language selection, techniques such as exaggeration and imagination are often used to create a powerful and open realm;Thirdly, the embodiment of the tragic consciousness of "hero’s tears ",discusses the artistic pursuit of sadness as beauty in the frontier fortress poetry of the Southern Song Dynasty, and its aesthetic characteristics presented through the writing and experience of tragic consciousness.
