| With the establishment and development of science and technology,painting has also gradually developed a new visual standard.The modern concept of composition has had a profound impact on the creation of paintings,often reflected in the combination and manipulation of dots,lines and surfaces.Whether it is Yayoi Kusama’s tightly stacked’polka dots’,Kandinsky’s passionate and dynamic ’lines’,or Mondrian’s extremely simplified ’red,yellow and blue blocks’,as the most basic elements of composition,these three elements are the most important in the picture.As the most fundamental elements of composition,the different roles and effects of these three elements in a picture have fascinated countless artists.This is why the application and study of the elements of point,line and surface in a picture is so important.This essay focuses on the analysis and practice of the use of point,line and surface in the creation of the series "The Living".The development,form and characteristics of the point,line and surface formal language,including the use of the elements of point,line and surface in classic paintings,are explained,The study takes as its object the use of the formal language of point,line and surface in the creative process of painting,and analyses in depth the practical use of the three elements in the author’s creative process with examples.Finally,the author focuses on his own perceptions and reflections in the creation of paintings,especially on the expression of emotions in the formal language of point,line and surface and the repetition of lines in the creation of paintings,and analyses and summarises how the relationship between the formal language of point,line and surface in painting should be better realised in the future practice.The author incorporates point,line and surface into his personal painting and creates art with the help of point,line and surface composition.Focusing on the above,this study attempts to clarify the relationship between point,line and surface and the series of works in The Living,the Living,the Living,the Living,the Living,and the Living,in an attempt to create works that are vibrant and expressive. |
