Research On The Protection Of Historical And Cultural Heritage In The Renovation Of The Old City Of Lychee Bay,Guangzhou

With the rapid development of the country’s modernization and economy,as well as the continuous improvement of the speed of urbanization,the functional construction of the old city has been unable to meet the needs of people’s constantly improving quality of life.In the old city,the problems such as imperfect infrastructure,bad environmental conditions and complex urban planning are becoming more and more obvious.These problems have caused great impact on the construction and image of the whole city.Therefore,the old city transformation will be an inevitable work in the process of urban development.China has a long history and culture,and the historical and cultural heritage is a kind of non-renewable precious cultural resources,it represents the spirit of the Chinese people,therefore,the inheritance and development of history and culture is closely related to the survival and development of the Chinese people,but also an indispensable part of improving the country’s soft power.However,as a major material carrier of human history and civilization,the historical buildings in the ancient city contain a lot of historical and civilization information,so in the old city transformation,how to protect and inherit them,has become an urgent problem to be solved.On the basis of the experience and lessons of old city reconstruction in the past,under the continuous enhancement of people’s awareness of historical and cultural heritage protection,the protection and inheritance of historical and cultural heritage has become more prominent in the process of old city reconstruction,and the historical and cultural characteristics of the city has gradually become a new direction of development.Therefore,it is increasingly important to study the protection and inheritance mechanism of historical and cultural heritage in the process of old city reconstruction.Guangzhou since 206 BC,Litchi Bay has witnessed the development history of Guangzhou.It has been the most beautiful scenic spot in Guangzhou for thousands of years,and is listed as the "Liwan Fishing Song" among the eight landscapes of the old Yangcheng.With the development of society,the change of the city and the pollution of waste water,many rivers,including Litchi Wan Chung,were landfill after liberation.Some houses were built,some tunnels were dug and some roads were built.Over the decades,the beautiful scenery of Lychi Wan has disappeared.Lychi Bay has become a memory of Guangzhou.Until Guangzhou held the Asian Games,with this opportunity,will "Litchi Bay Chung" back on the table,in 2010,osmanthus Bay Chung revitalized.After renovation,Lychee Wan Chung restores the former Jiangyong Wen Yun,improves the living environment of citizens,and is a landmark tourist resort in the center of Guangzhou.Based on the study and research of the relevant theories,and combined with the research results of domestic and foreign scholars,this paper will carry out an in-depth discussion on the protection of historical and cultural heritage in the reconstruction of the old city of Lychi Wan Chung.Through questionnaire survey,some problems in the protection of historical and cultural heritage in the reconstruction of old cities are found,which are as follows: unscientific regional division of historical and cultural heritage protection,inadequate characteristics of historical and cultural heritage after reconstruction,lack of urban planning and late protection of historical and cultural heritage,and insufficient public participation in the protection of historical and cultural heritage.The main reasons are: incomplete protection planning of historical and cultural heritage,one-sidedness of the government’s cognition of historical and cultural heritage,disconnection between early protection and later management,and lack of necessary publicity for the protection of historical and cultural heritage.In view of this,the paper gives corresponding suggestions from four perspectives: strengthening the protection planning of historical and cultural heritage,strengthening the scientific application of historical and cultural heritage,improving the urban planning and the follow-up protection of historical and cultural heritage,and strengthening the public participation in cultural heritage.It is expected that the analysis of this paper can provide ideas for the protection of historical and cultural heritage in the old city renewal of Lychi Wan Chung,and provide reference for the protection of historical and cultural heritage in other cities in the old city renovation.
