Reunderstanding Of The "three Tastes" Of Watermarking Prints

Watermarking print is the integration of modern creation print and traditional watermarking woodcarving.It is the inheritance,innovation and development of Chinese traditional watermarking woodcarving,and has distinct cultural and artistic characteristics of the Chinese nation.“Three flavors" is a summary of the technical language of watermark print.Based on the author’s creative practice,this paper explores the various forms of traces of "knife" and the rich expression of "water" in the art of watermarking prints,as well as the extension of"wood flavor" into "plate flavor",and explores the re-understanding and application of "three flavors" in the art of watermarking prints.This paper mainly discusses from three aspects.The first part expounds the author’s understanding of the "three tastes" of watermark prints.The second part is the author’s practical exploration,expression and application of "three tastes" in the artistic creation of watermark prints,looking for the relationship between presentation and balance of "three tastes" in the author’s works.The third part is the reflection and summary of the creation practice of watermark print,and the exploration of watermark print creation is combed,laying the foundation for its future artistic creation.Through the above reunderstanding of the "three tastes" in the art of watermark print and the discussion of its application and expansion in creation,the paper explores the new possibilities and future development direction of watermark print.
