Analysis Of The Imagery Narrative Of Realistic Films

Modern cinema has developed so far,imagery narrative is a unique way of expression in film art,a spiritual world with unique aesthetic meaning.Imagery is one of the indispensable elements of film creation,with rich and profound meanings and functions.Imagery narrative is often used in films to achieve the interplay of scenes and complete the expression of emotions in films.Imagery is not only an abstract expression of film art,but also contributes to the construction of plot and characterization,and has a new positioning for the aesthetic value and cultural connotation of the film.Imagery narrative is a bridge to communicate with the audience emotionally,and the established images can give the audience more ways to interpret them,which is an extension of the director’s emotional expression of the film narrative.The film audience is more and more concerned about the thinking and examination brought by the film,and the film creators are more and more concerned about the meaning and imagination of the film,so the imagery narrative and emotional expression of the film is of great significance to the creators nowadays.This paper explores the relationship between film imagery and realistic film narratives by summarizing and summarizing film imagery narratives and taking the graduation work "The Wind and the Wave Arise" as an example,aiming to introduce the research methods and value significance of imagery aesthetics into the examination of film narratives.Therefore,this study will use imagery narrative as a perspective and practical creation as a method to analyze the expression and deeper meaning of imagery narrative in realistic films.Through analyzing the research background and current situation of "Realistic Film" and "Film Imagery",the research method and innovation are explained.The function of cinematic imagery is also analyzed,as well as an overview of traditional imagery aesthetics in the expression of realistic subject matter films.On this basis,the short film "The Wind and the Waves" is interpreted from the perspective of individuality,and the presentation means and narrative functions and roles of audiovisual imagery in the film are discussed,as well as the film’s deeper guidance to the real society under the imagery narrative,and finally the artistic value of imagery narrative to the realistic films is outlined.
