The Application Of Henan Traditional Music Elements In Cao’s Zither Music

In this paper,Cao Dongfu,one of the founders of Henan Zheng School,is the main object of investigation,and the research results of field investigation are used as a supplement to explain the traditional music art of Henan and its important influence on the development of Cao Zheng music.Throughout Cao Dongfu’s musical artistic life,this paper analyzes the development of Henan Zheng music from the accompaniment music of major tunes to the main music of Bantou tunes,to the combination with Bantou tunes and the development of instrumental music teaching toward Henan Zheng solo music,and focuses on the development and innovation of Cao school zheng music art under the influence of Henan traditional music culture.The first chapter mainly introduces the performance art of Cao Zheng school,the formation process of Henan Zheng School and the important sources of Cao Zheng music created by Cao Dongfu(Bantou music and Pai Zi music).The second chapter introduces the historical development process of Henan traditional music types(Henan folk opera music,rap music,Henan folk song)and the Cao school Guzheng art growing up under its influence.The third chapter introduces the achievements of combining Cao’s zither music with Henan local music and Cao Dongfu’s playing techniques,and the representative works created with Henan music elements.Bantou Ququ works "Su Wu Homesickness",Guzi Ququ works "Variations on the Old Eight Ban",Henan Opera Ququ works "Autumn Clouds Cover the Moon",the creation and compilation of Qu works "Variation Meng Jiangnv",Henan folk Ququ works "Liberalization",Henan Ququ works "Small Han River".The fourth chapter briefly introduces Mr.Cao Dongfu’s legendary life and his rich accumulation of folk music and profound artistic skills led Henan Zheng school to rise to the road.
