Grotesque:A Study Of Mi Fu’s Artistic Image In The Late Ming Notes Novel

The rise of Mi Fu anecdote novels in the late Ming Dynasty,as a literary phenomenon,reflects the social and cultural phenomenon of the interaction between the philosophical trend of thought of personality in the late Ming Dynasty and the concept of literature and art with "feeling" as the core,and Dong Qichang and Wang Duo under the influence of the concept of literature and art respectively in their art history writings,inscriptions on the image of Mi Fu.This paper selects literature,art history,calligraphy and painting inscriptions as three representative texts to make an in-depth study of the late Ming Mi Fu art image.In literature,the late Ming Dynasty scholar Fan Mingtai collected "Mi Xiangyang Zhi Lin" as an example,is a special compilation of Mi Fu anecdote single-line novel,through shaping Mi Fu "grotesque" image to show the middle and lower class of the intellectuals of the late Ming Dynasty desire for spiritual liberation.Combined with the general popularity of the "strange" fashion in the late Ming Dynasty,the "grotesque" image of Mi Fu and the "strange" aesthetics of the late Ming Dynasty,which makes the liberation of people and strange writing have the same identity,and concentrated in the Mi Fu anecdotal novels.Painting "ink play" as the late Ming Dynasty literati painting life spirit display and literati painter inner self transcendence,Dong Qichang "painting content" described "Mi home ink play,strange strange strange",corresponding to the late Ming mind in the artistic expression advocated to break the restriction of the line ink,vent self emotion,in fact Dong Qichang is hoping to rebuild the literati painting "orthodox" status and spirit of The Times through Mi Fu,To counter the chaos of secularization and commercialization of painting,and at the same time remove the external pressure brought by political culture to scholars.As the calligrapher identity Mi Fu,its work in the changeable side of the body and jump clever use of the pen is very consistent with the aesthetic taste of the late Ming dynasty calligrapher,which Wang Duo in the "Wu Jiang Zhou poem" inscriptions that Mi Fu is "irreverent imitation",from the aspects of writing,ink method achieved on Mi Fu style technical level of innovation.By studying the artistic image of Mifu in the late Ming dynasty,this paper makes clear the learning path of Mi Fu calligraphers in the late Ming Dynasty,and brings enlightenment to the artistic creation related to the current Mi Fu style of writing.
