Study On Hubei Fine Art Exhibition Patterns In 1980s

In the 1980 s,Hubei art exhibition mode,as an art practice with broad cultural connotation,generated new art styles and narratives,new exhibition strategies and events in the romantic tradition and idealism of Jingchu culture,thus forming the existing art exhibition modes such as urban infiltration mode,project mode,ecological art festival mode and academy thematic mode.On the other hand,these seemingly creative art exhibition modes still seem to be able to identify potential models from "existing things"--traditional art exhibition modes imported from the West around the May 4th Movement.However,the concept of "art exhibition mode",as a cultural network and social media,is defined by its changing but repeating ideas,forms and contexts.This study takes the regional art exhibition patterns of Hubei Province(with Wuhan as the focus)during the decade from 1980 to 1989 as the research object.It does not mean that the lineages of Hubei art exhibition at this period will be traced back in detail with a linear historical view.Instead,it will be based on the visual culture research perspective and use relevant research methods of sociology.Firstly,from the "horizontal" study of the social environment,cultural trend of thought,artist habits,communication and artistic style of Hubei art exhibition pattern field in this stage.Furthermore,the paper probes into the relationship between the patron or supporter of Hubei art exhibition and Hubei Art Community in this period.Secondly,from the perspective of "vertical",in the context of modern humanistic thoughts,it reflects on the realistic cultural effect of Hubei art exhibition mode in the 1980 s.Finally,in the contemporary Chinese visual culture system,the transformation of Hubei art exhibition mode in the 1980 s is investigated,and the future trend of Hubei art exhibition mode facing the impact of globalization under the incomplete knowledge system of Chinese contemporary art exhibition is discussed.
