| The natural cultural heritage of China contains rich Chinese culture,which should be actively promoted to the world.Publicity translation is an important method to promote Chinese culture to the world.The translation of tourism texts plays an important role in the external publicity work.It not only promotes the external communication and development of my country’s tourism culture,but also is an important way achieve the national strategic goal of “Chinese culture going global”.The Old Town of Lijiang in Yunnan is a treasure trove of world heritage,with three world heritage laurel crowns,making Lijiang the region with the most world heritage.This translation practice report takes the book “Tour Guide Service Ability-On-site Examination Practice of Tour Guides in Yunnan” as the translation practice text,and excerpts the translation of the tour guide words in the sixth section of Old Town of Lijiang in Chapter Two,in order to enrich Yunnan tourism publicity materials,promote exchanges and development between China and Vietnam in the field of tourism and culture,and enhance the voice of the Chinese culture in the international community.Taking the ecological translation theory proposed by Hu Gengshen,a famous professor in China,as the basis of translation research,taking the translator’s“multi-dimensional adaptation or adaptive selection” as the translation principle in the translation theory,and “three-dimensional-language dimension,cultural dimension,communication dimension transformation” as the translation method,to guide this translation practice,solve the problems and difficulties encountered in translation,and summarize the translator’s own shortcomings and translation experience.This translation practice can expand the research scope of Eco-translatology theory,supplement the vacancy of Vietnamese translation of tourism translation texts,and has positive significance for the dissemination of Chinese culture.The summarized translation strategies and methods can also add new ideas for future Vietnamese-translated tourism texts. |
