| Traditional villages not only contain historical,cultural,scientific,artistic and other attributes,but also have a large number of ancient buildings of various types,which are important carriers for inheriting local culture and history.The research on the protective utilization and tourism development of traditional villages has attracted the attention of foreign scholars as early as the early 1930 s,and relevant laws and regulations have been formulated in succession.However,in China,it was only in the1980 s that traditional villages were investigated and protected throughout the country.Shanxi Province is one of the provinces where traditional villages gather most.The traditional villages here have strong local characteristics and important protection values,but most of them lack attention and the protection status quo is not optimistic.The research object of this article is the ancient town of Hechuan in Anze County,Linfen City,Shanxi Province.This ancient town is a traditional village that is seeking protection but still undeveloped,with rich tourism resources such as ancient buildings,historical figures,natural environment,and intangible cultural heritage.For such resources,it is important to conduct basic research related to tourism.Firstly,starting from the background of the topic,this paper proposes the research purpose and significance of the paper;This paper summarizes relevant research at home and abroad from three aspects: the status quo of traditional village protection research,tourism development research,and traditional village research evaluation;The research ideas,research technology roadmap,and research methods of the paper are described.Secondly,it defines basic concepts such as traditional villages,protective utilization,and tourism resource development,and introduces basic theories such as sustainable development,holistic protection,collaborative governance,and organic renewal.Then,it combs the occurrence of tourism resources in Hechuan Ancient Town,and draws detailed drawings and numbered maps of the distribution of ancient buildings in Hechuan Ancient Town;According to the "Classification,Investigation and Evaluation of Tourism Resources"(GB/T 18972-2017),the tourism resources of Hechuan Ancient Town are classified,and it is concluded that Hechuan Ancient Town includes 6 main categories,11 subcategories,18 basic types,and 48 tourism units;Using Lu Yunting’s "336" questionnaire method,it is concluded that the tourism resources of Hechuan Ancient Town have good geographical location and transportation conditions,high historical and cultural value,artistic appreciation value,high economic and social benefits,and great development potential;The development and evaluation of tourism resources in Hechuan Ancient Town was conducted using the scoring method,and it was concluded that the excellent and above tourism resources in Hechuan Ancient Town accounted for 89.6% of the total number of tourism units,while the special tourism resources accounted for 14.59% of the total number of tourism units.Then,a two-part questionnaire survey was conducted among the aborigines of Hechuan Ancient Town,the town government,and the county cultural and tourism bureau.Through data analysis,six major problems were identified in the protection and development of Hechuan Ancient Town,including serious damage to ancient buildings,lack of protection institutions and systems,insufficient attention,weak publicity,insufficient financial support,and weak infrastructure.Finally,six protection measures are proposed,including formulating protection principles,establishing a sound mechanism,grasping emergency repair and construction,upgrading the level of ancient buildings,increasing the degree of attention,and creating a cultural atmosphere;Ten development measures have been proposed,including accurately positioning the theme of ancient towns,establishing scientific and unified planning,selecting reasonable development models,making rational use of non-governmental organizations,paying attention to villagers’ participation and suggestions,enriching the types of tourism products,improving basic service facilities,emphasizing the coordinated development of agriculture and tourism,striving to create smart tourism,and maintaining integrity through innovative methods. |
