Research On The Innovative Development Of Urban Humanities Documentary Under The Perspective Of Semiotics

In recent years,documentary films have blossomed with the support of both the market and policies,attracting a large number of viewers.Urban humanistic documentaries have fully utilized their urban symbol advantages on the basis of humanistic documentaries,creating one masterpiece after another and gaining the love of many viewers.As early as 2012,the General Administration of Press and Publication issued the "Opinions on Accelerating the Development of the Documentary Industry," emphasizing the importance of adhering to the "two-oriented" direction and the "double hundred" policy of documentary development,focusing on the importance of realistic themes,advocating the attention of the audio-visual industry to real social life,telling Chinese stories,promoting the main theme,and also proposing to fully develop local characteristics and display the contemporary spirit of China.This article uses urban-related theories and selects excellent examples of urban humanistic documentaries to conduct research.The author finds that the current regional characteristics of this type of documentary are relatively clear exist obvious differences between different cities,cultural characteristics reflect the internal cultural characteristics,the characteristics of The Times reflect the view of the people Life,the social significance of the people.Secondly,using semiotics research perspectives,this type of documentary film uses audio-visual symbols to depict typical characters and enrich content in the meaning space,and showcases the current living conditions of characters affected by urban development and change from the perspective of existence space and story space in the narrative space.Then,using "The Artistic Conception of China" as theoretical guidance,the article analyzes the urban image,urban emotions,and urban character shaped by urban humanistic documentaries from cultural,emotional,and humanistic aspects.Finally,using narrative theory,the article focuses on the stories of typical characters,explores the diverse symbolic lives,and analyzes the innovation of the development of urban humanistic documentaries in the era of all-media.
