The Brushwork Lin Drawing In Wu Shanming’s Figure Painting And Its Application In Landscape Painting

Chinese art stresses the use of lines,"brushwork line drawing" is a special form of painting in Chinese painting.From Wu Shanming’s western sketching,he accidentally discovered the wonderful use of sumo ink.On the basis of studying Huang Binhong’s thick sumo ink,Wu Shanming studied and explored the mystery of light sumo ink.In the continuous attempts,Wu Shanming’s works after 1980 s liberated the line drawing language from simply serving the image building.This paper draws out the formal language of "brushwork line drawing" and makes it purified and deepened,evolving into a unique technique and a new aesthetic.Based on the study of Wu Shanming’s brushwork line drawing after his painting revolution in 1986,from the perspective of painting creation,combined with his own work practice and practice,this paper expounds how to absorb and use the brushwork line drawing language of "Wu Jia-sample" in the creation of Chinese landscape painting,and how to apply the brushwork line drawing conversion in the figure painting to the creation of landscape painting.At the same time,it can also better reflect the special aesthetic taste of Sumo,so as to produce certain practical significance for the creation of Chinese landscape painting.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly combs the origin and reform of the brushwork line drawing.As a form of painting,brushwork line drawing has existed since ancient times.When Wu Shanming was a painter,he changed the way of drawing lines and using ink,and the innovation itself produced certain techniques.Therefore,the second chapter mainly explores Wu Shanming’s brushwork line drawing techniques and summarizes their characteristics.The third chapter discusses how to convert the brushwork of Wu Shanming’s figure painting into landscape painting.The fourth chapter describes the application of line drawing and its influence on me.
