With the growth of economic aggregate and the improvement of residents’ living standard, leisure has become a rigid demand that cannot be ignored. As an indispensable part of individual life, leisure will have an impact on individual behavior in the field of work.Proper leisure can bring physical and mental recovery to individuals, but excessive leisure will lead to physical and mental consumption of individuals, the impact of leisure on individual work is difficult to use a "one-size-fits-all" one-sided method and subjective perspective to determine, its impact path is still unclear.Based on the combing and review of existing literature and relevant theories, this paper makes a detailed collation and discussion of five variables involved in the research: the definition, measurement and research status of leisure life style, recovery experience, mental fatigue, work involvement and self-control.Based on the spillover theory, the effort-recovery model and the two-stage model of self-control,a research model is proposed and the correlation between the variables involved is assumed. After questionnaire matching and screening,354 valid questionnaires were collected.SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 26.0 statistical software were used for data analysis and hypothesis testing.Based on the empirical analysis results, the conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Leisure lifestyle has a significant positive impact on recovery experience.(2)Leisure lifestyle has a significant negative impact on mental fatigue.(3)Recovery experience has a significant positive effect on work engagement.(4)Mental fatigue has a significant negative impact on work engagement.(5)Recovery experience plays a mediating role in the influence of leisure lifestyle on work engagement.(6)Mental fatigue plays a mediating role in the influence of leisure lifestyle on work engagement.(7)Self-control positively moderates the relationship between leisure lifestyle and recovery experience.(8)Self-control positively moderated the relationship between leisure lifestyle and mental fatigue.
