| In recent years,Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR)provides an effective means for China’s agricultural monitoring, precise agricultural development and food security. And it can save manpower and material resources, thus reducing the cost of agricultural inputs, which is one of the models of "promoting agriculture through science and technology".This report takes the lecture of "Synthetic Aperture Radar in Agriculture" of China University of Mining and Technology as the material and analyzes the successful and unsuccessful cases under the framework of the Skopos theory. And the analysis shows that the difficulties in this interpreting practice are professionalism, redundant information and complex logic.Under the guidance of the Skopos theory, the interpreter flexibly chooses the interpreting skills of amplification, omission, logical arrangement and segmentation to cope with these difficulties. And in order to achieve the purpose of interpreting, the interpreter tried to express information completely and assist the audience to understand the lecture better.Based on this interpreting practice and analysis, the report concludes that the Skopos theory can reconcile the balance between message integrity and speaker’s intention, and has certain application value for improving the effectiveness of scientific and technical interpreting. |
