A Study Of Qingdao Urban Film From The Perspective Of Cultural Geography

As a politically,economically and culturally developed population gathering area,city provides the soil for the birth and development of film.Meanwhile,film also records and reflects the city in the image.This paper adopts the relevant perspectives and theories of cultural geography to study culture from the perspective of geography to study urban film,and adopts the methods of literature research,text research and case study to choose Qingdao as the research object.Although Qingdao is an emerging city,it has a long history of film development.Its unique natural environment and landscape style have attracted many crews to come to Qingdao to shoot.In 2017,Qingdao was awarded the title of "City of Film" by UNESCO,which is the first city in China to win this honor,so it has important research significance.Take Qingdao city film as an example to analyze the presentation of elements that constitute a city in the film,and on this basis to find the image of Qingdao city in the historical development of the film.At last,starting from the concept of cultural landscape,explore the role of urban space in the film itself from the two aspects of presentation and reshaping.This paper consists of five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction of the research origin,research significance,research methods and research status,and explains the concepts of cultural geography,urban film,cultural district and so on.The second chapter analyzes the urban elements presented in the film,starting from the three elements of people,places and culture that constitute a city,and on the basis of grasping the urban culture of Qingdao,analyzes the geographical elements with the characteristics of Qingdao and the people in the city presented in the film.Cities are constantly evolving,and the images of cities in movies are constantly changing.Therefore,the third chapter starts from the perspective of historical development,on the basis of grasping the urban elements,analyzes the urban image formed under the collection of many urban elements,and looks for different urban images under the historical development.After analyzing the city elements and city image in the film,the fourth chapter returns to the film ontology by starting with the important concept of cultural geography,cultural landscape,and taking cultural landscape as text symbol to analyze its multiple functions in the film from two aspects of presentation and reshaping.The fifth chapter,based on the research of urban elements,urban image and urban landscape from the perspective of cultural geography,proposes the significance analysis of Qingdao city film from the perspective of cultural geography,and puts forward suggestions for the development of Qingdao city film.
