A Studay Of Local Culyural Adaptation Among The Residents Of Jiaozuo Sheqin Villages

Cultural adaptation is one of the important concepts of cultural geography,which can explain the local characteristics of the relationship between different cultural levels,and reflect the residents’ behavior of making adjustments and choices to a local culture on the psychological and behavioral levels.Local folk culture is a crucial aspect of traditional rural culture,and its preservation is integral to promoting rural revitalization and fostering harmonious social development.Nevertheless,with the pervasive influence of modern culture,the challenge lies in achieving effective inheritance and development of local folk culture,which is intricately linked to addressing the cultural adaptation difficulties faced by local residents.In the current era,it is crucial to comprehend how local residents adapt culturally in order to preserve and advance their folk culture.This paper focuses on the cultural geography perspective and examines residents of villages connected by Sheqin.By doing so,it aims to gain an initial understanding of the evolution of Sheqin culture and subsequently conduct an in-depth investigation with typical villagers from these villages.The investigation will address the following issues:(1)What are the cultural adaptation characteristics and influencing factors of Sheqin residents?(2)What is the cultural adaptation mechanism for Sheqin residents?This subject paper aims to explore the cultural adaptation characteristics and factors that influence the residents of Sheqin.To achieve this goal,we have conducted a thorough review of cultural adaptation research both domestically and internationally.Drawing on cultural adaptation theory and local theory as our theoretical foundations,we have employed various research methods,including questionnaire surveys,interviews,field investigations,principal component analysis,cluster analysis,chi-square analysis,and single-factor analysis.By analyzing a questionnaire survey of 349 residents from villages tied by Sheqin,this study aims to construct a cultural adaptation dimension.This dimension will reveal the cultural adaptation characteristics,influencing factors,and differences among residents of married villages,as well as analyze their cultural adaptation mechanisms.The research findings indicate that:(1)Sheqin culture holds significant value in terms of inheritance and development.Over time,it has evolved from its roots in folk spontaneity to becoming a cultural heritage,transitioning from tradition to modernity,and moving from disorder to standardization.Throughout this evolution,the form and connotation of Sheqin culture have continued to change and expand,resulting in a high level of historical inheritance value.(2)The residents of Sheqin generally have a high level of adaptation to Sheqin culture,and there is no lack of adaptation;However,there are significant group differences,which can be divided into "integrated residents","assimilation residents",and "separated residents".Their adaptation level is manifested in the dimensional order of daily life,social interaction,value attitudes,and participation experiences;The adaptation of Sheqin residents to Sheqin culture is mainly influenced by internal factors such as age and cultural level,as well as external factors such as the frequency of Sheqin cultural activities and local government policies.(3)The combined force of local government,local atmosphere,local interaction,and local value formation is an important mechanism to promote and enhance the cultural adaptation of Sheqin residents.Local interaction is an important demand for the survival and development of Sheqin residents.Through friendly interaction between social relatives,a harmonious "passing through" space can be constructed,achieving a complementary livelihood model,and promoting the production and development of Sheqin residents.In addition,local interaction has also provided more opportunities and resources for getting Sheqin residents,promoting local rural revitalization and prosperous development.Through friendly interactions,Sheqin villages can collaborate and support each other,expand economic channels,increase sources of income,and improve their quality of life.The residents of Sheqin villages can perceive a strong cultural atmosphere,social atmosphere,and festive atmosphere through long-term frequent interactions,increasing their sense of identification with Sheqin culture and facilitating better adaptation to it.Sheqin culture has become an important carrier of harmonious coexistence and shared interaction among local ethnic groups,providing a practical path for ethnic unity that can be used for reference,guiding the formation of a community of friendship and regional communities among ethnic groups.This not only promotes rural revitalization,but also helps to build a spiritual home for the Chinese nation.The local government has created a favorable policy development environment for the inheritance of Sheqin cultural heritage,increased attention Sheqin cultural heritage,fully mobilized the enthusiasm of local residents to spontaneously inherit and protect Sheqin cultural heritage,promoted the dynamic and coordinated development of Sheqin cultural heritage between the government and non-governmental organizations,and helped the residents of Sheqin villages better adapt to Sheqin cultural.
