Space Superposition

Water-based material painting is a common art form of painting,with water-based pigments as the medium,with the characteristics of transparency and fresh.In watercolor painting,indirect color mixing and water trace overlap is a common technique,which adds more interest and depth to the picture and creates a unique sense of space.This paper takes the process of exploring water-based material painting as the main line,and discusses how to use indirect color mixing and water trace overlap to shape the sense of space superposition in water-based material painting from three aspects of techniques,principles and practice.At the early stage of the research,we explored the techniques of water-based materials,and used the techniques of overlapping,rendering and indirect color blending in watercolor to show the superposition of pictures.In the exploration of techniques,the visual features of overlapping texture in the space of water-based materials are extracted.With the texture as a symbol,the color layer is constructed through the way of superposition and indirect color adjustment to get rid of the sense of sketching,and produce a new picture language.After the picture effect is produced,we study the commonness with the visual effect of space superposition in pop art and collage art,learn from the commonness,take its essence and apply it to water-based material painting.Through the subjectivity of color,trace sense,segmentation and reconstruction to create an emotional atmosphere,express the painter’s mood and life experience when painting,very emotional color.Finally,in the introduction of the emotional color of the picture language expression and constantly trying to obtain the ability to process the complete picture through observation and exploration,and find their own painting language,and strive to constantly innovate in daily practice,so that the picture presents the change of water trace and visual impact.
