Research On The Application Of Imagery Language In Contemporary Landscape Illustration

Imagery belongs to the basic category of traditional Chinese aesthetics,and its essence is the high degree of unity between objective things and subjective emotions,so as to recreate objective objects.The imagery has a unique oriental charm,which is different from the "photorealism" under Western aesthetics,and is an indispensable and important element in contemporary landscape illustration.Based on the language of imagery,this project combines many excellent landscape illustration works and self-creation(series of illustrations "The Yellow River Flows into the Sea"),and analyzes the application of imagery in contemporary landscape illustration,the specific content is as follows:The first part starts from the perspective of image modeling,combined with actual cases and personal works,to demonstrate and analyze the morphological expression and modeling characteristics of image language in landscape illustration.The second part discusses the aspect of image color,and is divided into three parts,which elaborates and analyzes the subjective expression,emotional expression and symbolic meaning of image color in landscape illustration.The third part falls on the composition of image language and landscape illustration,based on the concept of image language,and argues in two parts that the use of image in composition is inseparable from the integration of reason and the trade-off between pen and ink.The fourth part argues from the aspects of imagery language and artistic conception creation in landscape illustration,based on the principle of image aesthetics,and argues in two parts that the creation of artistic conception is inseparable from the object itself and contains poetic emotions.The application of imagery language in contemporary landscape illustration is not only the inheritance and development of classical Chinese aesthetics,but also the exploration of the expression form of landscape illustration,aiming to provide theoretical basis and practical reference for the creation of contemporary landscape illustration.
