Research On Changes In Tone Of Humanistic Photography After Reform And Opening Up From The Perspective Of Social Memory

Photography has a history of over 180 years since its birth,presenting various aspects of the progress and changes of modern society.As a medium for carrying information dissemination,it has become an indispensable recording tool for people.Over the past 40 years since China’s reform and opening up,photography has witnessed countless exciting moments in China’s construction and development.As a type of photography that can effectively interact with social life,humanistic photography also truthfully records and reflects the development and changes of society in the dimension of "otherness".The popularity of color photography allows humanistic photography to witness social development and changes while also recording the colors of the times.Its color tones often show the photographer’s profound understanding and emotional resonance of the era,leaving valuable visual archives for the public.Under the guidance of social memory theory,this article combines K-means clustering algorithm to digitize and analyze the color tones in over 10000 humanistic photography works since the reform and opening up,visualizing the trend of color tone changes in humanistic photography.Systematically sort out the process of color tone change,explore the laws of color tone change,deeply analyze the influencing factors of color tone change,and further build a humanistic photography thematic filter library since the reform and opening up.The research is mainly divided into five parts: The first part is the introduction.Based on the theme of the paper,clarify the background,significance,and related concepts of the research,comprehensively analyze the current research status at home and abroad,and summarize the main research content and methods,innovation points,and difficulties of the article.The second part elaborates on the background of the reform and opening up era and interprets the tone impression of humanistic photography.It elaborates on the collection,screening and classification of humanistic photography works,as well as the color extraction process using K-means clustering algorithm.It analyzes the color change process and trends of humanistic photography in different periods since the reform and opening up from the four aspects of "clothing,food,housing,and transportation",reviews the memory of the times,and explores the rules of color change,Further discuss the influencing factors of change.The third part is mainly a qualitative validation analysis of the research results and conclusions of the project.The fourth part is about reconstructing the memory of the times,derivatives-the design practice and user experience evaluation analysis of the humanistic photography special filter library since the reform and opening up.Finally,the fifth part is the conclusion,which summarizes and prospects the research topic.This paper aims to use digital technology to reshape the memory of the times,dig deeply into the deep reflection of culture and emotion behind the color change of humanistic photography,explore the great achievements of reform and opening up through the unique perspective of color change of humanistic photography,and reflect "social change" with "color change".
