Research On Shaping The Image Of Rural Doctors In Character Feature Film

As one type among many feature films,character feature film takes people’s living situation and life story as its main content.It uses documentary techniques to record the real life of characters and reproduces the past events by means of simultaneous sound interview and data display.Through some specific events,details to show the character’s inner world,spiritual style,so as to achieve the ultimate goal of promoting the character’s spirit,guiding and enlightening the audience’s thoughts.Rural doctors take root at the grassroots level and assume most of the responsibility for medical care and public health services in rural areas.They are the guardians of the health of rural residents.By studying the image of rural doctors in character feature films,we can better promote the image of rural doctors and let the public have an in-depth understanding of this group.In this thesis,the image of rural doctors is taken as the research object,the relevant literature is sorted through the case analysis method,comparative research method and other research methods,the relevant film and television works are analyzed,and combined with the character feature film "A Rural Doctor : Li Caihong ",the method and strategy of shaping the image of rural doctors in the character feature film is studied.The thesis is divided into four parts.Firstly,from the outline of the character feature film and the image of the rural doctor,the concept of the feature film is clarified.Sorting out the differences and connections between feature films and documentaries;Analyze the types of character feature films;Summarize the development and type of rural doctor’s image.Secondly,from the three aspects of the coexistence of individual personality and group commonality,the parallel of objective record and subjective presupposition,and the integration of image expression and rational analysis,this thesis analyzes the idea of building the image of the rural doctor in the character feature film,and forms the experience that can be used for reference and applied in the creation.Thirdly,the thesis discusses the strategies of building the image of rural doctors in the feature films from three aspects: picture,sound and editing.Among them,the picture language presents the image of selfless dedication of rural doctors through multiple scenes,various shots to show the image of dutiful rural doctors,and multiple means to reproduce the image of ambitious rural doctors.Sound language records medical routine through simultaneous sound,narrates medical stories,and transmits emotions of doctors through music;The editing method reconstructs narrative timing through time distortion,and the editing rhythm conveys characters’ emotions and conflicts to highlight humanistic feelings.Finally,combined with the graduation work "A Rural Doctor : Li Caihong " to elaborate the specific practice of the image of rural doctors.Through the exploration and analysis of the works,academic achievements and creation practice of the feature films of relevant characters,this thesis summarizes the general methods of building the image of rural doctors in the feature films of characters,and provides reference for the creation practice of the works of relevant themes in the future.
