Lou Shou Stele, short for the stele of Mr.Lou(a scholar of the Han Dynasty),had a great influence in the Qing Dynasty.Based on the analysis and research of existing rubbings of the stelae in Loushou Stele, this paper finds that the rubbings are still controversial.Simultaneously, simplicity flourished in the Qing Dynasty, and gemology developed rapidly. In the Han Dynasty, tablet rubbings were unearthed and popular, which ushered in the revival of the Han scribe in the Qing Dynasty. The original stone of Loushou Stele was lost early, and many scholars and calligraphers watched and read the inherited rubbings after they appeared in the Qing Dynasty, leaving inscriptions and postscripts and copies of the works, and even in the Qing Dynasty, the Loushou Stele was engraved in ancient China, which had more or less influence on many calligraphers.Calligrapher collectors have been searching for traces of its rubbings, but now Loushou Stele has almost disappeared. At the same time, visiting China was one of the important means of learning books.Clerical calligraphers in the Qing Dynasty also learned tablet engravings by copying them.At present, many copies of the Lou Shou Stele have been left, such as Zheng Fu,Jin Nong,Ding Jing,Huang Yi,Yang Xian and Weng Tonghe. The study on Lou Shou Stele shows the different artistic concepts of the Qing calligrapher, which further arouses the writer’ s reflection on the concept of Linchuang. From the clerical script of the Qing Dynasty,Huang Yi lin’s Lou Shou Stele is selected as an example.Because of Huang Yi’ s unique use of Lou Shou Stele,he not only took the Lou Shou Stele from the small scribe, but also used it on the seal cut side style, and integrated it into the side style. This paper mainly analyzes how Huang Yi learned and applied the Han stele with Lou Shou Stele as an example in calligraphy and seal cutting, and discusses the attitude and concept of Qing calligraphers towards China,as well as the method of applying what they learned to the Han stele.By studying Huang Yi’ s tentative study of Lou Shou Stele, this paper expounds the Qing Dynasty official calligrapher’ s view of artistic creation, and its enlightenment to contemporary official script learning.
