Research On Gender Practice Of Network Literature Female Reader Community

Women’s online literature and female readers’ community are not only an important part of online community culture,but also an important part of gender issues.In recent years,with the development of the cultural industry and the progress of media technology,the community of female readers of online literature has developed very well and gradually entered the vision of mass culture.The female readers of network literature have the dual identity of both women and readers and are oppressed by the mainstream order and patriarchy both in the society and in the field of network literature.This paper takes the female readers’ community in Jinjiang Literature City as an example,aiming at studying the gender practices carried out by female readers of network literature in the community space,so as to promote the awakening and progress of female readers of network literature.Female readers of network literature construct a space to carry out gender practice,identify the same type of female readers through the common focus of attention,clear reader boundaries and other factors,and then maintain order and hold activities as a bond to deepen the connection between female readers and the space,and finally let female readers form belonging and identity in this space.In the practice of gender,the network literature female reader community builds a "Saiberg" of multiple female roles and gender integration.This kind of gender practice breaks through the traditional gender dualism and realizes the breakthrough and reorganization of the boundary of gender temperament.Under the gender practice,the network literature female reader community has realized the resistance to the mainstream culture and patriarchy,but it also cannot escape the discipline of the mainstream culture and patriarchy in the gender practice.In the research process of the gender practice of network literature female readers community,this paper points out that there are some problems worth reflection and discussion in this community,including the solidification of community impression brought by the network literature with gender as the circle,the easy fall into the trap of consumerism and capital erosion of community female readers,the trend of younger readers affecting the growth of teenagers and so on.At the same time,this paper puts forward the future prospect of the network literature female reader community.First,the community should take the responsibility to care for gender issues and maintain the community of women;Secondly,we should grasp the relevant policies and norms of network literature and spread high-quality content.Finally,the reader community should be well managed to create a clear network space.
