A Study On The Image Of The Villain In The Yi Epic "zhiga Alu"

Since the birth of the Yi heroic epic "Zhiga Alu",positive heroic figures have always been the focus of the epic performance.In the past,studies on the heroic figures of the epic "Zhiga Alu" have mainly focused on the heroic figures "Zhiga Alu",either by individual studies or by comparative studies.Discuss the character image,status and influence of "Zhiga Alu".It can be said that the positive heroic figures,as the embodiment of idealism,are always present in the creation of epic poems.However,there are still more irrational and unwholesome villains in the epic,and there is still a lot of research space in the academic circle.They are the least noticeable characters in the epic.They often appear as supporting characters,but they play a pivotal role in intensifying the conflict of events,making the plot tense,exposing social problems and creating positive images.In this paper,the negative character in the Yi epic "Zhiga Alu" is taken as the research object,through close reading of the text,theoretical analysis and cross research,this paper sorts out the negative characters in the Yi epic "Zhiga Alu",and discusses the relationship between the negative characters and narrative forms,as well as the cultural connotation of the negative characters,so as to explore the important significance and value of this role in the epic.The thesis consists of introduction,four chapters and conclusion.In the introduction part,the author expounds the research status,significance and research methods of the topic at home and abroad,and briefly explains the theoretical methods and professional terms used in the research process of the article.The first chapter selected and published by Guizhou Ethnic Publishing House,translated by Aluo Xingde "King Zhiga Alu"(1994),edited by Tian Mingcai "Biography of Zhiga Alu"(2006),edited by Yang Fuwang "Alu Jure"(Yunnan Nationalities Publishing House,2015),edited by Shada Gema and Aniu Muzhi "Zhige Along"(Sichuan Nationalities Publishing House,2008)is an epic text.It summarizes the contents of the epic and the image of the villain,and classifies the types of the villain in the epic "Zhiga Alu".The second chapter mainly uses Propp’s story morphology theory to discuss the role function of the villain in the epic from the perspective of the function of the story morphology theory,and statistics the number,type and repetition of the narrative function of the villain,so as to refine the basic story structure of the villain narrative;Moreover,this paper discusses the function of the villain in the plot from the function of the narrative struggle and conflict of the villain and the rhetorical symbol function of the villain story.The third chapter mainly discusses the cultural connotation of Yi ethnic group embodied by the villain image in the "Zhiga Alu" epic poem,respectively from three aspects of ancestor worship,"Gill" worship,hero worship.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the artistic value of the villain image in the epic "Zhiga Alu",which is divided into three aspects: time value,artistic effect and artistic reflection.The conclusion summarizes the whole thesis and points out the shortcomings of this thesis.It is hoped that through this study,the villain image can be shown more vivid,and make some substantial results for the enrichment of the epic character image research.
