| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of "invigorating spleen and warming kidney" on tumor cachexia based on "Yin poison" theory, and to provide scientific basis for clinical application. Methods:According to the random number table, eighty patients with tumor cachexia(deficiency of spleen and kidney Yang)were randomly divided into control group and experimental group(40 cases in each group)in a 1:1 ratio. On the basis of conventional treatment, the control group was given megestrol acetate dispersible tablets,as appropriate to protect the stomach, stop vomiting, pain relief and other symptomatic support treatment. The experimental group was added with invigorating spleen and warming kidney formula on the basis of the control group. The observation period was 1 month. The changes of Chinese medicine symptom complex scores, cachexia evaluation scale and laboratory test indexes were observed and compared between the two groups after treatment, and the safety indexes and related adverse reactions were recorded,so as to evaluate the clinical efficacy of "spleen strengthening and kidney warming method" based on the theory of "Yin poison" in the treatment of tumor cachexiaResults:(1)Based on the theory of "Yin poison","spleen strengthening and kidney warming method" combined with megestrol had advantages over megestrol dispersive tablets alone in improving Chinese medicine symptom complex score and quality of life of patients with cachexia, and the difference was statistically significant.(2)Based on the theory of "Yin poison"," spleen strengthening and kidney warming method" combined with megestrol had advantages in improving serum albumin and hemoglobin levels and reducing IL-6 levels compared with megestrol dispersive tablets alone, and the difference was statistically significant.(3)Compared with megestrol acetate dispersible tablets alone,the"spleen-strengthening and kidney-warming method" combined with megestrol acetate dispersible tablets was safe in clinical use, with stable vital signs in general, and no toxic and side effects or adverse reactions in heart, liver and kidney were observed in the two groups. Conclusion:In this clinical study,by comparing the cachexia scale evaluation, laboratory examination indicators,Chinese medicine symptom complex scores of 80 patients with tumor cachexia after treatment,it was predominantly concluded that the "spleen strengthening and kidney warming method" based on the theory of"Yin poison" has a good clinical effect and no obvious adverse reactions. However, due to the short observation time and small number of cases in this study,it is necessary to appropriately extend the observation time, expand the scope of subjects and exclude other interfering factors,so as to make a more accurate evaluation of the long-term efficacy and safety of "invigorating the spleen and warming the kidney" method for the treatment of malignant tumor based on the theory of "Yin poison". |
