Clinical Observation On The Efficacy Of Tiaoqi Daozhi Decoction In The Treatment Of Functional Defecation Disorder (Qi Stagnation And Dampness-heat Syndrome

Objective:To invstigate the effect of Tiaoqi Daozhi formula on the patients diagnosed as Functional defecation disorders of the qi stagnation with damp heat type.The patients were randomly divided into two groups.Tiaoqi Daozhi formula and polyethylene glycol 4000 powder combined with Mosapride were used respectively for two weeks.Then,the overall effective rates,clinical symptoms,quality of life,anxiety and depression were compared.Methods: This study is a randomized controlled design.Sixty patients with functional defecation disorders recruited from Chongqing Traditional Chinese medicine hospital from December 2020 to January 2022,whom were randomly divided into observation group(Tiaoqi Daozhi formula)and control group(mosapride citrate tablets combined with polyethylene glycol4000 powder).Both of therapy lasted for 2 weeks.The clinical symptom score,quality of life,anxiety and depression score and other indexes of the two groups were observed and compared.SPSS26.0 statistical software was used to carry out the analysis,P<0.05 was statistically significant.Results:(1)The total effective rate of observation group was 72.63%,and that of control group was 61.20%.The difference between observ atio n group and control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)The improvement of symptom score in observation group was sig nificantly better than that in control group.The main symptoms were incomplete defecation,abdominal pain and auxiliary defecation,and th e difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Observation gro up can effectively improve the quality of life of patients,and the im provement effect is better than that of control group,the difference i s statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)Observation group can improve patients’ anxiety and depression,but there is no significant difference compared with control group(P>0.05).Conclusion : Tiaoqi Daozhi formula has obvious therapeutic effect on Qi Stagnation with damp heat type functional defecation disorders,and can also improve the quality of life,anxiety and depression of patients with functional defecation disorders.In terms of symptom improvement and quality of life improvement,traditional Chinese medicine has great advantages over western medicine.
