Observation On The Clinical Efficacy Of Xiereqingchang Prescription In Treating Constipation-type Irritable Bowel Syndrome (gastrointestinal Heat Accumulation Syndrome

Objective: The purpose of this study was to observe the clinical efficacy of Xiere Qingchang Formula in the treatment of constipation-type irritable bowel syndrome(gastrointestinal heat accumulation syndrome).Methods: In this study,a total of 62 patients in the outpatient clinic and ward of the Department of Spleen,Stomach and Liver Diseases of the Affiliated Hospital of Hunan Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2020 to November 2021 who were diagnosed with IBS-C of gastrointestinal heat syndrome were collected.The treatment group and the control group were respectively There were 31 cases,1 case in each group dropped out during the treatment period,30 cases in the final treatment group and 30 cases in the control group.The treatment group was given Xiere Qingchang Decoction,and the control group was given Liuwei Anxiao Capsules,and the course of treatment was 4 weeks.The total effective rate,TCM main and single symptom scores,and symptom severity scores were observed in the two groups of patients.The recurrence was observed after 3 months of follow-up.SPSS software was used for statistical analysis of the research results.Results:(1)Overall curative effect: The total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.67%;the total effective rate of the control group was 76.67%,and the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(2)The total score of TCM symptoms: the scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and the symptom improvement of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(3)Traditional Chinese medicine primary and secondary symptom scores:After treatment,the two groups had similar treatment effects in three items of defecation difficulty,body weight loss,dizziness or bloating(P>0.05);in terms of improving stool characteristics,defecation frequency,abdominal pain,dry mouth or bad breath,the effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(4)Severity of symptoms: The total score of IBS-SSS scale in both groups decreased compared with before,indicating that the improvement of the severity of IBS-C was effective;after treatment,the total score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group,and the treatment group was better than the control group(P <0.05).(5)Recurrence rate: After 3 months of telephone inquiries,there were 7cases of recurrence in the treatment group,with a recurrence rate of26.92%;18 cases in the control group,with a recurrence rate of 78.26%,and the recurrence rate in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: Xiereqingchang recipe has a significant effect in the treatment of constipation-type irritable bowel syndrome(gastrointestinal heat accumulation syndrome),not only can improve the symptoms of patients,but also has high safety and excellent long-term efficacy.
