Objective: Observing the changes in the area and severity of skin lesions,quality of life,itching degree,and traditional Chinese medicine syndromes before and after the treatment of patients with psoriasis vulgaris blood heat syndrome using silver filings antipruritic ointment encapsulation,evaluating the effectiveness and safety of silver filings antipruritic ointment encapsulation treatment for psoriasis blood heat syndrome patients,and providing preliminary preparations for further clinical and experimental research in the future.Methods: Sixty patients with psoriasis blood heat syndrome who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group.The control group received oral water buffalo horn honeycomb soup,external application of compound flumetasone ointment,and sealing with Vaseline.The treatment group received oral water buffalo horn honeycomb soup,external application of compound flumetasone ointment,and comprehensive treatment with silver filings antipruritic ointment.After 8 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate,PASI,DLQI,itching situation,and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of the two groups were compared.Results:(1)Comparison of effective rates: 60 clinical studies were completed,30 in the treatment group,and 30 in the control group.The clinical effective rate of the treatment group was 86.67%,while the clinical effective rate of the control group was 70%,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(2)Comparison of PASI scores: After treatment,the PASI scores of both groups of patients decreased,P<0.01,and the difference was statistically significant;There was a significant difference in PASI scores between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).(3)Comparison of DLQI scores: The DLQI scores of the treatment group and the control group decreased after treatment,and the DLQI scores of the treatment group(3.07 ± 1.484)were lower than those of the control group(5.83 ± 1.64),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(4)Comparison of itching degree scores: The itching degree score of the treatment group(1.60 ±1.04)was lower than that of the control group(2.23 ± 1.10),with a statistically significant difference(P=0.041<0.05).(5)Comparison of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores: The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(6)Adverse reactions: There were no significant adverse reactions or toxic side effects in the treatment group.Conclusion:The treatment group and control group are both effective in treating patients with psoriasis vulgaris blood heat syndrome,and the clinical efficacy of the treatment group is significantly better than that of the control group;The treatment of silver filings antipruritic ointment can effectively reduce the PASI score,DLQI score,itching degree score,and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of patients with common silver filings blood heat syndrome,improve clinical efficacy and patient quality of life,without obvious toxic side effects,and has the value of use and promotion.
