Study On The Distribution Of TCM Syndromes And Constitutions And Their Correlation In Patients With Knee Osteoarthritis Combined With Osteoporosi

Objective: To study the distribution characteristics of TCM constitution types and TCM syndromes in patients with knee osteoarthritis combined with osteoporosis,and to explore the correlation between TCM constitution and TCM syndromes in patients with KOA combined with OP,so as to provide a better reference for the clinical treatment of body discrimination and syndrome differentiation,and provide a research basis for the clinical use of TCM constitution to guide the treatment of KOA combined with OP.Methods: In this study,KOA patients with OP who met the inclusion criteria were selected from the outpatient or inpatient ward of Dianjiang County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chongqing.After obtaining the consent of the patients,the Information Collection Form,Clinical Syndrome Type Record Form and TCM Constitution Questionnaire were filled out.The general information,TCM constitution and TCM syndrome type of the patients collected were incorporated into Excel to establish a database.SPSS26.0 software was used for statistical analysis of data,and the conclusion was drawn.Results:1.Among the 200 patients collected in this study,152(76%)were female and 48(24%)were male.Most of the patients were between 75 and 89 years old,and in descending order of age,38patients(19%)were between 45 and 59 years old,78 patients(39%)were between 60 and 74 years old,and 84 patients(42%)were between 75 and 89 years old.160 cases(80%)of patients with manual labor were greater than 40 cases(20%)of patients with mental labor.2.The distribution of the physique types of the patients was Yang deficiency 63 in cases(31.5%)> Yin deficiency 57 in cases(28.5%)> Qi deficiency 37 in cases(18.5%)> Qi stagnation 15 in cases(7.5%)> phlegm-dampness 13 in cases(6.5%)> moisture-dampness 9 in cases(4.5%)> blood stasis 4 in cases(2%)> peace quality 1 in case(0.5%)= characteristic quality 1 in case(0.5%).3.The syndrome types of the patients were as follows: deficiency of liver and kidney in 77 cases(38.5%)> wind-cold-dampness BI syndrome in 53 cases(26.5%)> deficiency of spleen and kidney Yang in 34 cases(17%)> Qi stagnation and blood stasis in 21 cases(10.5%)>dampness-heat bi syndrome in 9 cases(4.5%)> qi and blood weakness in 3 cases(1.5%)=phlegm-stasis bi syndrome in 3 cases(1.5%).The distribution of damp-heat obstruction syndrome had statistical difference with occupation(P < 0.05),but had no statistical difference with gender and age(P > 0.05).4.There was significant statistical difference between the TCM constitution type and syndrome type in 200 patients with OP of KOA(P< 0.001).Yang deficiency was positively correlated with spleen-kidney Yang deficiency syndrome(OR=9.357,P <0.001)and wind-c old-wet Bi syndrome(OR=4.506,P<0.001).Yin deficiency was positively correlated with deficiency syndrome of liver and kidney(OR=325.333,P<0.001).Qi-deficiency was positive ly correlated with wind-cold-dampness Bi syndrome(OR=2.243,P=0.035).Phlegm-dampness was positively correlated with wind-cold-dampness Bi syndrome(OR=5.049,P=0.007).Conclusion:1.The vast majority of the 200 patients in this study were biased constitution,with Yang deficiency,Yin deficiency,qi deficiency,qi stagnation and phlegm-dampness as the main distribution types,while blood stasis and damp-heat only accounted for a minority.2.Among the 200 patients in this study,the syndrome of deficiency of liver and kidney,wind-cold-dampness Bi syndrome,spleen-kidney Yang deficiency syndrome,qi stagnation and blood stasis were the most common,while the syndrome of dampness-heat obstruction,qi and blood weakness and phlegm-stasis bi syndrome only accounted for a minority.3.In this study,TCM constitution of patients with KOA complicated with OP was closely related to syndrome type.Patients with different constitutions showed different syndromes:wind-cold-dampness bi syndrome,spleen-kidney Yang deficiency syndrome and liver-kidney deficiency syndrome were common in patients with Yang deficiency.The syndrome of deficiency of liver and kidney is common in patients with Yin deficiency.The common syndrome of wind-cold-dampness Bi,deficiency of liver and kidney and deficiency of spleen and kidney Yang were found in patients with qi deficiency.Patients with phlegm-dampness commonly suffer from wind,cold and dampness obstruction,phlegm-stasis obstruction and qi stagnation and blood stasis.The syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis is common in patients with Qi stagnation and blood stasis.Dampness-heat obstruction is common in patients with dampness-heat.4.In this study,the distribution of TCM syndrome types was related to occupation,and had nothing to do with gender and age.
