Clinical Observation On The Application Of Wenzhongzhitong Powder On The Umbilicus To Treat Mesenteric Lymphadenitis (abdominal Cold Syndrome) In Childre

Objective: By observing the clinical effect of Wenzhong Zhitong powder applying umbilicus to treat children with mesenteric lymphadenitis,clinical trial data are provided for the clinical promotion of Wenzhong Zhitong powder applying umbilicus to treat children with mesenteric lymphadenitis.Methods: In this study,60 children with mesenteric lymphadenitis with abdominal cold syndrome were included and randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group was given Wenzhong Zhitong powder for umbilical compression and Yangzang Decoction for non-decoction granules orally,while the control group was given Yangzang decoction for non-decoction granules orally.A 7-day course of treatment was observed and the scores of TCM symptoms of the children before and after treatment were recorded.The follow-up was 3 months.The collated data were statistically analyzed to compare the total efficacy,improvement of TCM syndromes,recurrence rate of abdominal pain and parental satisfaction of the two groups after treatment.Results:(1)In terms of total efficacy: According to the research results,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.7%,and that of the control group was 70.0%.There was a statistical difference in the total efficacy of the two groups(P<0.05),indicating that the total efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(2)In terms of TCM symptoms,the results showed that the total score of symptoms before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.01),both groups could significantly improve TCM symptoms,and the improvement of symptoms in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.01);In terms of the main symptoms,both groups could significantly improve the degree of abdominal pain,abdominal pain time,abdominal pain frequency,abdominal tenderness(P<0.01),the score of the two groups after treatment P<0.05,indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the main symptoms.In terms of secondary symptoms,pale face,cold limbs and clear urine in both treatment group and control group were significantly improved(P<0.01),and the treatment group was better than control group(P<0.05).The symptoms of cold sweat,purple lip color and vomiting were significantly improved in both treatment group and control group(P<0.01),and were equivalent in both groups(P>0.05).(3)The recurrence rate of abdominal pain:there was no significant difference between the two groups in improving the recurrence rate of abdominal pain(P>0.05).(4)Safety analysis: No adverse events occurred in the two groups during this study,and no abnormalities were observed in the children enrolled in this study before and after treatment,indicating that the safety of the two treatment schemes was confirmed.(5)Parents’ satisfaction survey: Parents’ satisfaction with treatment group was higher(P<0.01).Conclusion: The clinical effect of Wenzhong Zhitong powder application on umbilicus and adjuvant treatment of children mesenteric lymphadenitis(abdominal cold syndrome)is certain.Compared with the use of internal decoction alone,it can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and reduce the pain of children.External treatment is convenient,painless,safe and highly satisfying to parents.The internal and external comprehensive treatment program of traditional Chinese medicine not only has ideal curative effect,but also can reduce the excessive use of antibiotics and the adverse consequences caused by its abuse,and reduce the psychological and economic burden of families.
