Objective:To observe the effects of warm acupuncture on the degree of constipation, the Chinese medical evidence of Qi deficiency and the quality of survival in patients with Qi deficiency constipation after stroke,to evaluate its clinical efficacy and to provide an objective basis for clinical application. Methods:Forty patients who met the criteria for post-stroke qi deficiency constipation were selected and randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, with 20 patients in each group. Both groups were given basic treatment with Chinese and Western medicine, with the treatment group adding warm acupuncture to the basic treatment and the control group adding conventional acupuncture to the basic treatment. All patients were treated once a day,6 times a week for 1 course of treatment, for a total of 2 courses of treatment. The constipation clinical symptom rating scale and quality of survival scale were used to observe the degree of constipation,Chinese medicine qi deficiency symptoms and quality of survival of patients in both groups before and after treatment, and then statistical analysis was conducted to evaluate the clinical efficacy.Results:1.After treatment, the clinical symptom scores of constipation decreased in both groups compared with those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but the decrease was more significant in the treatment group than the control group in terms of downward and incomplete sensation,Qi deficiency type symptoms and total score, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.After treatment, the quality of survival points of the two groups decreased compared with those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but the quality of survival points of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The overall effective rate of the two groups after treatment was 95%and 80%respectively,and the healing rate was 55%and 25%respectively,the difference in the efficacy between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The efficacy of warm acupuncture in treating patients with qi-deficiency constipation after stroke is positive, and it can improve the degree of constipation and qi-deficiency symptoms in Chinese medicine to a certain extent,as well as improve the quality of life of patients, and it is better than conventional acupuncture treatment in improving the downward and incomplete sensation during defecation and qi-deficiencytype symptoms of patients,so it is worthy of further study and promotion of application.
