| Objective : This study formed an intervention group of clinical nurses and conducted an interventional study of group psychological training incorporating positive breathing.By measuring the general information and psychological resilience of clinical nurses between the experimental and control groups and analyzing the difference between pre-and post-intervention psychological resilience,we provide a scientific basis for nursing managers to implement psychological resilience interventions for nurses in clinical settings. Methods:Class experimental study.A convenience sampling method was used, and clinical nurses serving in a tertiary hospital in Liaoning Province were used as the study population.A total of 40 clinical nurses were included according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and the nurses were randomly divided into a control group(n=20)and an experimental group(n=20)using the random number table method. The nurses in the control group underwent in-hospital conventional psychological counseling, and the experimental group implemented group psychological training incorporating positive breathing on the basis of the control group:(i)an intervention team consisting of a nursing psychology instructor as the supervisor and nine nursing psychology teachers and graduate students(ii)the intervention team designed the intervention program;(iii)clinical nurses were recruited to form a psychological training group. The general demographic information and psychological resilience of clinical nurses were measured before and after the intervention respectively, and descriptive statistics were used to describe the general demographic information of clinical nurses;two independent sample t-tests were used to analyze the differences in scores of each index between the two groups after the intervention;paired sample t-tests were used to analyze the differences in scores of each index in the experimental group before and after the intervention.Results:1.Completion of the experiment A total of 40 clinical nurses participated in this study, among which no nurses withdrew from the study halfway.40 nurses’ questionnaires were free of omissions and errors and were filled in for too short a time.40 nurses were finally included, including 20 in the experimental group and 20 in the control group.2.general information of the experimental subjects The age distribution of the study subjects ranged from 22 to 50 years old, with an average age of 31.3±6.05 years. The study subjects participating in this study were mainly female clinical nurses, accounting for 92.5% of the total study subjects. The nursing work experience was distributed between 0 and 25 years, and the average nursing work experience was8.37±5.29 years;the departments of the clinical nurses participating in this study were mostly concentrated in surgery(32.5%)and internal medicine(22.5%);the education was mainly college/higher vocational and undergraduate;the title statistics were mainly nurse practitioners, accounting for 47.5%;the position survey showed that most of the positions were general nurses The majority of clinical nurses who participated in this study earned 4000-6000 RMB,accounting for 47.5%;70% of unmarried clinical nurses and 30% of married clinical nurses;the majority of these clinical nurses had no children, accounting for 67.5% of all study participants;the proportion of clinical nurses in the personnel relationship reached 75% of all survey participants. The proportion of clinical nurses in the personnel relationship reached75% of all participants. There was no statistical difference in age, gender, department, salary, title, academic position, monthly income, marital status, and personnel relationship between the two groups of clinical nurses(P > 0.05).3.Psychological resilience of nurses after the intervention The results of the study showed that after six sessions of positive breathing training in the form of group psychological training, the clinical nurses participating in this study showed a significant increase in the total psychological resilience score and the dimensions of optimism,self-improvement and resilience compared with those before the intervention(P < 0.05),and the total psychological resilience scores of the experimental control group before the intervention were 41.50±15.07 and 43.80±7.89.After 6 weeks of intervention, the total psychological resilience scores of the experimental control group were 57.85±9.61 and 42.40±7.78,respectively,and the psychological resilience of the experimental group was significantly improved(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.Positive breathing training in the form of group psychological training can improve the level of psychological resilience of clinical nurses.2.6-week group psychological training was effective in improving the psychological resilience level of clinical nurses, and the maintenance effect was good at the follow-up after 4 weeks.3.Activities conducted in a group format provided a safe environment for clinical nurses to promote their own psychological health. |
